LOVE the big 2wd tractors. 7110 was the envy of the whole neighborhood when one of our neighbors bot one of the first ones. So many good memories of these tractors. Thanks for the video
two of my favorite channels😁 but you guys should apply for a verification badge (the little check mark beside the channel name) so that people know it’s really you. it’s way too common for people to impersonate youtubers nowadays. as far as I know the only real stipulation is that you have to have over 100,000 subscribers, and that your channel is verified.
Jason ,I can't believe how you continue to post great videos. The 7110 in the south was the first real contender with the John Deere 4450 in peanut country. It wouldn't run hot pulling a peanut combine like the 50 and 55 series Deere.
We ran that exact same set up, till 2012, traded the 900 for a 3200 kinze, we sort of took a step backwards, but the 1200 series planters weren’t a great unit foe many. He is actually wrong in that the planter has been modified with a Kelderman fold kit, which moved the two boxes inward and allowed a 12 row to be folded down 16 feet rather than needing to use an end transport. It folded 3 rows forward, much like a john deere wing fold or kinze econo fold. If you look at the wings just outside the central fill hoppers you can see the hinge that was added at the dealer.
If I remember right. The 2 reverse and 4 reverse transmission’s weren’t options. The early 7100’s came with 2 reverses and after a few years they came with 4 reverses.
Good looking case you have there. I just live the look they had in the 90's. And that's saying something coming from a JD guy. And on a completely different subject, I'm sure if there are kids living in the houses in the background they love watching the farmers working in the fields.
Can't believe how many Subs you have. Well actually I can, great camera work, good sound quality and just the right amount of commentary and the content is right up my street!! My 'daily driver' was a Case 5140 Maxxum when I was back on the farm. Best wishes from England 👍
Big tractor power, I have this book called Red Tractors by Lee Klancher, which is about International Harvester and Case IH tractors. I read about the creation of the Magnum tractors after the merger of those two companies. Like the videos. I remember reading that the cab was modeled after the IH 88 series tractors of the early 1980s.
Clinton Stubbs IH had the “Magnums” already designed a prototypes built when the merger came about. Case reworked them into what they became. There’s some rare photos the Red Power Forum of a 5488 with a full powershift........
I used to spread manuere with a 7110, and my dad used to plant 8r30s with a 7140 open station Great tractors just didnt like the heat from the transmission on the cab foor
I remember when the planters came out in the seventies, as a young boy then I thought it was awesome but the ole timers saying “ it’ll never hold up “ but there still working . Y’all know ole folks the got their opinions. Now I’m ole folks 😂
The 900 Early Riser is planting on strip till. They only work the ground up ahead of the planter where the seed is going to be planted. No playing here.
GPS did not exist when the 7110 was built. Any tractor with power steering can use GPS. In some cases the GPS May cost more than the tractor is on depending how classic the tractor is.
Because there is no drive in the front wheels and duals would make turning a bigger nightmare. The tyres it has on there are big enough to support the weight of the tractor.
7120 was the first large tractor I had ever been in, this tractor is a huge part of my youth!! Thanks!

Great video Jason!

@@joshp4.0 That's a good idea, I always meant to do that but just haven't. I'll get on that!
Thank you. It’s great finding this classics. Especially a tractor and planter of the same vintage.
We purchased a 7110 MFD 3yrs ago. Always was a dream to own a boxcar Magnum! Great Video!!
I love these 2wd tractors 👍

John Deere always broke down in South Alabama
Joe Steel What do you mean?
Another great Magnum video!👍

This is a great classic tractor👍
Stay safe out there.
A nice matched pair right there. Them magnums sure were, and still are, Cadillac’s of the field. I’d love to own one someday.
👍👍
Great show. Thank you
Привіт! Як завжди цікавий трактор!👍👍👍👍👍👍
That planter seems to cover the seed well. Looks like a real nice set up. Enjoyed
Thank you for watching.

Such a cool looking tractor. Always loved those 2 wheel drive machines.
I have 3 two wheel drive tractors a 1990 Massey Ferguson 3070 92hp cab; a1989 539 IMT 39hp open station; a 5320 John Deere 64hp cab tractor.
Another great video with workhorse tractor. Thanks for sharing.
Nice looking classic.
👍👍
Wonderful video as always
We still have our 7140 mfd. Love the design and going strong. Mainly used for secondary use now though. Thanks for some IHCase action.
😁👍👍
Love Central IL 🚜
Another excellent video!
Thank you for watching.
We got our field cultivator out today and tomorrow or the day after tomorrow we're going to field cultivate our garden.
Nice vid.. what I'd really like to see the planting and harvesting of peanuts..👌🏿
Love the big hp 2wd , don't see any over here in the UK

Currently running a pair of 7110s on the farm
Very nice. What jobs do they do?
👍👍

I have a diecast cyclo air planter just like that one and the same magnum but with a loader
I used to spread manuere with a 7110, and my dad used to plant 8r30s with a 7140 open station
Great tractors just didnt like the heat from the transmission on the cab foor
Oskar Z 7140 open station??????????????????????????????

✌️✌️✌️
Thank you for watching.
Can you plant cotton with these? I wouldn’t see why not but the only videos anyone makes one these is soyboy beans and corn lol.
Yes you can plant cotton with a cyclo
Was he using GPS?
MrMagnum7220 I’d say so with the antenna on top of the cab, no markers or he’s one hell of a driver. 😎
Looks to me like he's replanting or just playing. The rows are already there at least that is what I'm seeing.
The 900 Early Riser is planting on strip till. They only work the ground up ahead of the planter where the seed is going to be planted. No playing here.
I assume this tractor has add-on auto-steer.
GPS did not exist when the 7110 was built. Any tractor with power steering can use GPS. In some cases the GPS May cost more than the tractor is on depending how classic the tractor is.
Why doesnt 2wd tractors use duals up front? Isnt there as much weight on the front axle on a 2wd as a 4wd?
Duals are for traction
Because there is no drive in the front wheels and duals would make turning a bigger nightmare. The tyres it has on there are big enough to support the weight of the tractor.
Que pasa que no están haciendo siembra directa ??
