It's amazing how many people just flat out ignore warnings or safety information, then have the gall to act surprised or upset when they get caught up in something bad.
They're standing so close to the window that their camera is focused on the window debris instead of what is actually happening outside. They weren't doing anything right.
It's scary to be in a truck during a tornado. It feels like the truck shakes and starts to raise up off the pavement! I've been through it a few times.
I thought a cell phones wasn’t allowed in the building or at least she wasn’t allowed to use your cell phone according to company policies. I was shocked to see someone standby a window while a tornado was going. What happened to take cover. FedEx need to do better with their employees. I really hope the CEOs of FedEx look at this video. The employee who this needs to have disciplinary action taken. This is unsafe things like this could set a trend for other people to do the same thing.
at my job we are not supposed to have cell phones in the work area. You can hear thunder approaching and sometimes it's nasty sounding. We'd never know what is coming unless we sneak a phone and peek at the radar. Management is supposed to put us in storm mode and in six years we've only done it once for a thunderstorm. One time the power went out from a storm and that forces them to send us to breakroom. One time the sirens in town were going off, phones were doing the public emergency wail, and we were not given leave to stop working. After the Amazon deaths I feel management knows how fragile these buildings are but they don't talk about it. We'll see what they say at startup meeting in the morning...
Your sets are terrible ( the awkward shifting forward of the anchor is not helpful), your field reporter doesn't know how to use a microphone, ... why is local journalism failing? Lackluster Complacency.
The storm awareness safety information, “Don’t stand by windows, move to an interior safe space!”
That must be for other people 🙄🙄🙄

Do as I say, not as I do

Standing right against a window as a freaking tornado is bearing down on the building… 🤦
“Contracted drivers”. Glad they are ok but they really need a union like UPS.

Sounds like you should stop trying to be Reed Timmer lmao
Both Stryker Facilities along with Pfizer are untouched. Just an update
Good and interesting interview with two FedEx employees, describing a tornado 🌪 storm, while being inside their FedEx truck.
Wooow, prayers for all sent
How was no one hurt and everyone accounted for if 50 people are trapped?
I believe there were injuries, just nothing serious....
FedEx will not tell you the truth anyway.
They didn't have a lot of time once the sirens went off, about 3 or 4 minutes.
THEY LOVE THEIR JOBS

Sorry for all the typos, but you get my point. FedEx need to train their employees better than this.
They're not allowed in the sort areas. Inside the front office isn't a violation since it doesn't show the sort operation.
Notice these guys called it a storm. Not a tornado.
Seems like a FF to me.
They didn't show the building?
Yes, we noticed the lack of FedEx building - I wonder if FedEx requested the media NOT show the building?
@ShelleeGraham I saw it on CBS morning show You Tube video. It was bad.
Why are there pickup contractors ? FedEx doesn’t hire there own drivers? Wow
The Biden economy
People need to learn to go home before storms hit
Remember Mayfield
Good luck with your job, have a nice unemployment!
