What a game by the Hoosier fr. Down double digits early for the first time all year and to come out and just throttle them was really quite the response. Showdown with OSU in a few weeks, hoping I win my work pools tickets that game 😂
Nah, they got to cover OSU beating PSU once again like OSU and Mich don't beat them every year and act like it was some big test or hurdle. And the best part was Urban Myer saying it was a big win by Ryan Day.
I feel for you guys. I keep cautioning the fire Franklin crowd, he can’t beat the elite teams but he has PSU right there every year. If you replace him it might get better, it might get worse.
Kirby doesn’t know how much he’s losing control of his players. Beck it trash on the field, and the players are constantly doing dumb stuff on and off the field😒
This Cardiac Canes BS narrative. Look, their defense likely means they're one and done in the playoffs but a run of 3 close games does not mean they're "surviving" for 9 weeks. They were down 4 pts at the half and then their opponents scored on the opening possession of the second -something no other team has ever let happen in the history of football apparently. They won by 3 TDs in the end and the game was over just a couple of minutes into the 4th. Stop trying to inject needless drama where there is none.
And that " UGA BS narrative" with the way Carson Beck throws picks UGA will be one and done. With the way Nico plays UT is one and done. With the way ND can't throw the ball they're one and done. With Alabama's inconsistency theyrd one and done. See how all of that works? Clown
Penn State never lives up to their hype, can't never win the big one to move to the next tier. Indiana and Army are still under the radar. Besides Miami winning, both Clemson and Pitt got blown out. I can easily see Georgia losing one or two more games. I was glad KSU and Iowa State both lose because they have been living on the edge almost every week. BYU, SMU, and Boise State are 3 more teams that are not getting enough attention they deserve. ESPN loves Bama, they could lose 3 games, and they still would feel they are a Nat. Champ contender? How about USC choking away yet another game. Colorado is also a reputable team that never gets mentioned very much, except for Stephen A.
The heisman front runner but nobody is watching his highlights lol come on ncaa I know they 9-0 but the award is for the best player in college football. STOP THE SHENANIGANS.
Boy I'm glad that he won that game because it was real stupid for him to say that if he would have lost but honestly this shows how bad Penn State is when they could have one of the best quarterback prospects in the portal and they didn't pull the trigger on picking him for their team
Of topic maybe but can anyone explain the penalty on psu for stepping over the osu player? I mean i get the reasoning behind the rule but i watched several games yesterday, and this happened over a dozen times and was never called anywhere else on the planet. Any thoughts?
My only assumption is that when he was getting up he didn't have to put his other foot over the OSU player. Seemed more intentional I guess? I agree I see it happen a lot and go uncalled though
i believe this specific taunting was called because of the stare down before the step and the fact that his junk was in the osu kids face for a bit too long. no man wants another dudes dong in their face. just not classy
@robdrayer2183 would you agree that if it's because of the "way in which he did it" thing that that would be very subjective? I'm not arguing your point as I do agree with it. Simply saying that if the rule is that open to interpretation then it gives officials way way too much influence. Imo of course
@mattschrimpf236 Of course it's subjective. Just like a lot of penalties are, frankly. I mean, an offsides either is or it isn't, but what about a face mask call? I'm sure you've seen a player's hand brush across a face mask without causing any kind of movement from the other player's head, but it gets a flag anyway, while other times the ref just let's it go. I'm sure officials have black and white guidelines for every penalty, but in the end it comes down that particular zebra on that particular day. I'll bet that eventually we'll be at the point that the replay booth is allowed to stop play and enforce a penalty that wasn't even called. God forbid, lol!
Every week most recap shows barely cover the Ducks. It's ok, just keep up the season game plan and take each game one at a time. It is working so don't wander off.
This weekend proved what we already knew before the season - the Big 12 and ACC are awful football conferences. I can see justification for letting Miami into the College Football Playoff if they go undefeated, but I can't see how any Big 12 team can be let in, especially if that team is 9-3 or 8-4. If the committee is selecting the best teams, it's going to be full of SEC and Big Ten teams with maybe one outlier. But we know it's never about selecting the best otherwise Cincinnati and TCU never would have sniffed a chance in the past few years.
Here's what's hilarious about what you're saying with everything you left out the SEC. Every team has multiple loses in that conference except for UGA who in their game vs Kentucky and UF I can argue they were the 2 most least impressive wins of all the top 10 teams. Meanwhile the ACC has 2 undefeated teams who've shown more signs of consistent life than any team in the SEC yet you give them a pass. Fascinating
@@romegrey2600 dude the sec beating up on eachother whos the acc playing nobody cclemson lost 2 now man its gonna be many 2 lost teams watch and boise state played weak teams best team boise state played is oregon 😂
Georgia was struggling vs a team of third stringers Miami beat Florida while they were fully healthy 41-17. BYU the big 12 top team only beat SMU by 3. You are just yappin
FRANKLIN IS TOO PREDICTABLE! YOU CAN TALK A BIG GAME BUT CAN YOU PLAY IT. SIMPLY SAYING ITS YOUR FAULT ISNT GOING TO CALM THE CROWD DOWN! "WIN THE CROWD!"
James Franklin is a nice guy, but I think we’ve seen his ceiling. He’s great at collecting junk wins, but he’s not capable of beating the top, better coached teams. If you wanna have annual appearances in something like the Peach Bowl, he’s great for that. But you’ll never win a national championship with him.
4 min on OSU v Penn State, 2 min on Oregon v Mich, 3 min on Georgia against an unranked team…recaps in middle on OSU and Georgia (nothing on Oregon). Then Heather is asked, “who were the biggest winners?” Well…Notre Dame, Boise, Alabama…and then it ends (no mention of the biggest winner, the AP #1 ranked team, who won again). Should Oregon win the B1G, will the respect increase? If they win the first ever 12 team playoff for the Natty, will the respect increase? I will not hold my breath. The bias is palpable.
Canes fan here. 4 things I learned this week. The Canes defense will not show up this year so our season is predicated on Cam Ward staying a Heisman candidate. Oregon is the best team in the country. Boise State is still being disrespected. Indiana is still being disrespected.
@davidtaylor1650 Are you kidding?? Have you watched either team? Alabama is not good this year and Milroe is a big reason why. On the other hand, Gabriel is going to be a Heisman finalist and should be. Of the reasons you could have given to favor Alabama, QB play should not be it. Bad take.
@robdrayer2183 what r u talking bout. I didn't say I trusted Milroe, I'll take Bama's defense before trusting Gabriel.. You'll see once the playoffs start. Imma big OU fan I've watched Gabriel all last year. When the lights got bright he folded. He's Tua 2.0
@davidtaylor1650 But you clearly haven't watched Oregon. The Ducks are far better than Alabama in every aspect, including defense. And Gabriel didn't fold in the tOSU game. He's playing great. Again, please be informed before commenting.
Penn State with not 1 offensive TD. And they will still be ranked like 5 or 6
Not going to lie! It’s nice seeing coaches that has control over their teams!!!
Didn't cover Indiana? Really?
They sleep.

Yeah I remember the time in Indiana won all those championships oh wait
This was one insane College Football weekend
Beck is such a terrible qb. Wild that this dude has a 1st round grade by a lot of people
Bro Xavier Restrepo feels like he been at Miami for a decade now 😂 only 4 years but shows dude will be legit at the next level
Remember when everyone thought Christian Hackenberg was going to change penn state?
They said the same for 5 star Allar
As a lifelong PSU fan, we haven’t be able to beat top tier for YEARS!!!!!!! Love Franklin…but we can't get over the hump.

It's a taunting thing. It was the manner in which he did it, sort of an in your face, more than the actual action that drew the flag.

Why are women hired to do game and highlight commentary? Their voices aren’t meant for it - it sounds dumb. Most would agree, yet we don’t matter.
