What about 93CF and 93E7 ? .... first time i had only 93CF (impact sensor door front right ) and after the connection cleaning it seems was working until now , what should i check?
I did the same things on my 2006 5.30xi car and used 2 ohm 1/2W resistor. Used Autolink AL 619 scanner to erase the code but it didn`t work. Warning lights and sounds coming back when somebody sits on the passanger seat. Is it the resistor values or the scanner problem? Btw scanner founds the code but when I erase the code it never says the code erased! It is just showing an empty screen. When I check the error codes again it shows no error. But lights and sound is still there. What can it be the problem?
Hi I was wondering if you can help me out here. I have a 2009 BMW and I want to find out that if it is E61 or E60? And also how can I get that program which you have in this video on your tablet? Cheers
... I have a resistor but I don’t think I have that cable to splice into. Are these factory equipped? Can the vehicle operate without it ? Any help is appreciated
Здр. Качих видеото в бмв форум , защото инфото е полезно за много хора с този проблем . Един въпрос само ,има ли значение резистора коя страна за кой кабел се запоява ?
I have fault codes 93B2 - Battery positive terminal isolation 1 93A9 - Squib circuit belt tensioner driver side 93AA - Squib circuit belt tensioner passenger side Will this also work to clear those codes?
I tried this fix. My plug had a loose/faulty connection and I couldn't find two ohm resistor so I put two 1ohm resistors inline but on the car side of the loom not battery side. It worked for a while but light came back on after two months and I couldn't reset it. Then I put only a 1ohm resistor inline. Again warning light would go off but come back when starting in morning . Now I have a 2.7ohm resistor in place. Light has been off for two weeks so far ok. Why do you think light keeps coming back.... temperature change or faulty resistor over time?
Sometimes this error is set by the Passenger Seat Occupancy Mat sensor . I haved success only with 2.0 ohm resistor , anything else set the fault code , 2.2 2.4 etc.
Crank . I have bypassed the passenger seat occupancy sensor aswell as seat belt light for passenger side. I now have 2.7ohm resistor in place for battery bypass. So far it's working
My local independant mechanic wasn't able to clear it last week with his reader which was strange. I was planning on buying a carly unit anyway but this would be an added bonus.
You did not test the resistance after you soldered the 2ohm resister on the the connector. I did this and found that there is absolutely no resistance as the connector has an internal connection. Thus is doesnt matter what type of resistor you put in, it simply doesnt do anything.
Crank 9AFF fault gone by putting the resisor exactly as you showed in the video but 9B01 stays even after coding out both of them and the airbag and seatbelt lights on the dashboard still there. Do you know what else can I try to sort this out?
That fault is the Airbag Cotrol Module called the SGM/SIM. Sometimes replacing the 2 large capacitors fixes it or else replace the module with a new or used one. If replacing the module, it needs to be reflashed with the car's VIN code. Yes, your comment is 2 years old but I'm replying in case someone else is reading this. : )
This is not worked for me. What can I do to fix this error? e60 2004 525d CCC navi -error message is: "Resistant systems: function of airbags, belt tensioners and belt force limiters faulty, Ensure your seat belt is fastened despite the fault!" If anybody knows a solution for this, please send me a message or reply.
BMW have invested time and money to come up with a solution in order to make this safer and you are fixing it with a resistance .. at least don't call this a fix but a workaround
I have this car with this problem and about 100 others. All faulty sensors or units/modules not doing they're job. It is a good safety feature like everything else but bypassing all of them would make the car soooooo much better. In 3 years now all my problems are sensors or something else electrical. I wonder if when I leave A I will get to B everytime I drive it 😖
Хахах, добре - "This is Bulgaria and we're bypassing everything!" :D
Right from the heart ! :D

You must buy it , with the OBD adapter with it . The name is Launch X431

I think this should be equipped in any E60 / E61 . Never seen one without it .Yes , it is not a problem to work without it .
Never seen one without it. Maybe it’s been modified would you be willing to help me locate it if I emailed you pictures ?

No it won't help , on this problems
@@crank3646 Thanks for the reply. I should be able to clear the 93B2 code though?
Depends . If they are pending probably , but they will come back eventually , if they are current , no .
I needed to take down doorpanel found cables cutted from doorswitch so I removed the airbag also bought a thinkscan scanner

Can Carly clear the fault code after it has been bypassed or what code reader can I use to clear it?
Any code reader should be capable of that
My local independant mechanic wasn't able to clear it last week with his reader which was strange. I was planning on buying a carly unit anyway but this would be an added bonus.
Probably because he was searching the fault code in the airbag module . This error code is in the SFZ satellite module .
Oh, I'll say that to him. Thanks a lot!

The plug has internal connection , but when you plug it to the connector , the circuit disconnect itself :)

I can put a resistance of 2 ohm 1/4 w?
so i didn’t understood. In case of an accident the airbag will work or not?
They will work :)
