I just bought one of these a few weeks ago and man - this thing is a work of art. The quality is through the roof and that Turkish walnut stock looks like it has faint tiger stripes. The action is smooth and the rounds cycle effortlessly.
+Watch Ryder I also have one in 223. it's a smooth action for sure, but different in feel to an Enfield due to the cock on close with an Enfield. light and smooth though no question.
I can't believe you guys discontinued this. You created a classic old-world firearm then threw it away for the hideous CZ 600 - which is already being recalled.
I have three CZ's and looking to add more. Unless you are looking at high end offerings, like Cooper, Dakota, and some European offerings, etc., CZ's "sporter" rifle quality is impossible to beat for the price. The fit and finish of Ruger has dropped off, most significantly when they dropped production of wood stocked M77 Mk II's and redirected everything to black guns. The Hawkeye is a mere shadow of the 77 MkII. Hopefully they will do right by their Marlin acquisition. JMO.
I know CZ is proud of their new 600 line of rifles with its variants to fit all situations, but I can’t help but think CZ pulled a Winchester ‘64 when they discontinued all their Mauser pattern rifles. Do you not hear how much your customers want them back?!
I’m assuming this is a true .223 Rem, incapable of safely firing the 5.56mm? I have access to surplus 5.56 and am looking for a light carbine that will take both. Ah well, search goes on.
Our guns are built to CIP specifications, which doesn't differentiate between 223 Rem. and 5.56x45, and they will safely handle the pressures of both. Thanks!
I planned on purchasing a 527 Carbine in 7.62 × 39 until the narrator mispronounced the word "carbine". Just kidding....I've read responses on other sites where individuals fought over the pronunciation of the word. I'm fine with it pronounced either way. I do hope to purchase one soon. I have yet to find an owner of one who regrets the purchase.
A pitty that it was discontinued... such a great little rifle...
They really quite making these FAR too soon. The 600 series is just not as good, and especially not as good looking.
please bring this rifle back!! Cant believe it is discontinued. I want one so bad!
YES
Please get a 10 round magazine into production!

Lucky. They are unavailable everywhere right now...other than gunbroker sellers wanting $900+. I want one bad
CZ. Makes rifles like the USA use to. The craftsmanship and quality that goes into their rifle is tops period....
And look sexy
Shoots like a dream, lighter than an SKS, and has the recoil of a .22 Magnum. THAT is the power of craftmanship!
I want one. Will be a family heirloom. Love CZ firearms! Thanks for being so great.
Don't forget the awesome set trigger! Really great for accuracy with higher end ammo.
this was beautiful.....my tears came out.....
Please bring back the Front Sight Hood displayed in this video! The current flimsy cage-style one is really disappointing.
Naše zbraně jsou prostě nejlepší.
Bring this model back!!!! Such a bad decision to end production!
Best rifle i ever had! I had a lots!
I have one in 223. A perfect vermin rifle in the UK.
+centurianmk6
That's good, is the action as smooth as an Enfield .303?

Good to hear, just need one in .308 for some big game hunting. :)
+Watch Ryder and a mighty fine job it would do of it too.
In the US we keep AR15s for vermin...and tyrants...same thing
Get em built, I want one!

Getting s 527 in a couple weeks. X39 is probably my favorite round due to its versatility.
trying to find one of these in 7.62x39 is like trying to win the powerball
+Steve Vang I just asked my local gun shop to find one for me; I had it in less than two months :)
Why 7.62x39 with a varmint barrel? Why not this: cz-usa.com/product/cz-527-american/

@@m1911legend You need to act quickly as they sell out fast, but they are still plenty available even now.
Getting mine next week :)

I was the 223rd like on this video. It must be a sign!
You are fools for discontinuing these rifles!

👍CZ
My wife is a small woman, this is the ideal rifle for her chambered in 7.62.
@Adecodoo You just said it yourself, you're a big guy. My wife is pretty tiny, about 100lbs soaking wet, so yes, size is very relevant to her.
Yah, I want one, so why was it discontinued?
What is MSRP?
Any chance you can make a 7.62x39 in full stock?
I have one and want to add a muzzle brake. Is it safe to reduce the muzzle diameter down to .550 for 14 x 1 threading?
Is there an option for a forward scout rail???

Top load ?
Has the stock issue been addressed?
how is the recoil compared to a AK-47?
Like a .22 Magnum
Where is his hearing protection?
Caleb Whittington Hard to see, but they're there.
+czusafirearms thats how you know they are inserted correctly into the ear..
***** Thats because everyone has 2cents to spare and nothing more.
