I have the exact same MacBook Pro 15" mid 2015, I experience a missing PALM REST SENSOR and PALM REST ACTUATOR resulting into zero feedback on trackpad but still being able to use it w/o feedback and very slow CPU and throttling (yet cold computing units). It has been told me by a credited repair center in my city that it is imputable to the motherboard and therefore some missing tracks between trackpad and SMC. Do you have any schematic and topography of the SMCs surroundings for this Mac? Many thanks.
Hey Teo, my recommendation you need check the voltages coming to the keyboard connector. I have a couple were the problem is only the flex that communicates trackpad with logic board. Any other help +14695580125 WhatsApp. Good luck!

I already change my charger to new one from Apple, but the same problem happen. Should I change the logic board or is there any suggestion.? BTW what is that "Iron Man" on yr desk ..? Looks cool !! :)
Question i have this model but My charger was starting to burn and i got rid of it i don't have a charger anymore is their a way to charge it without it's charger???
I have the same model with dual graphics and mine has the same behavior, but I also get the low battery icon on the screen and then it turns off (with and without battery).
Hello, having similar issue with early 2015 13” macbook pro. battery fine, magsafe wont charge and light wont turn on. Have cleaned and swapped magsafe dc unit, smc reset and still no fix. Please help!

Try another charger or another battery and from there all the lines that are related to the charger. There’s a couple things to know to can diagnose this failure in the best way.
Probably g3h missing. If you are not a tech take it to one, however I have others videos talking about that issue in different models and it is the same critical thinkingZ

You should check U7100, SMC and Q7155, start from there.

@@Juan4Repair I replaced both battery and new charger. It stays on 2% charge. Maybe try and take the battery out and re-install it?
