Need help!!! when hit assign - hit rim - set sound I want- then go back to kit - the head and the rim have the sound I assigned, not just the rim. What am I doing wrong?????

Hi there. When you want to assign only the rim sound, make sure to turn off the 'H&R' switch below to avoid the same sound together. This one to make the sound of the head and rim are not pair together. Thanks

Is TD-17KVX2 suitable from Grade 1 up to Grade 8?
I used to own an old edrum where the drum teacher told the specifications is only suitable up to grade 3, considering Roland TD-17KVX2 now when im going to grade 8 in the future

Hi there. Roland TD-17KVX2 is well recommended for exam grade from Grade 1-8 because it has all the features you can use such as addition crash (CR2), expanded sound and you can also customise your own kits as preference with your sound kit. As the exam upgrade to Grade 5-8, all these features is already have with this TD-17KVX2. Thank you

I just ordered this. I'll be playing with headphones on but how do I let other people hear what I'm playing? Is there a built in speaker or would I have to buy one?

Hi there. Yes you need to have a amp for drums able for you to hear because TD-17 does not have built-in speaker. You can check out Roland PM-100 in this link. Thanks
