- Today I went "shopping" for my new foster kittens! I knew I wanted to help my local shelter free up space to save more lives...but how do you choose who to foster when there are more than 150 kittens in one room?! In this video, watch us empty 5 kennels by bringing home new foster babies. FOSTERING SAVES LIVES!

You inspired me to foster... I currently have 10 (yes, 10) fosters. 9 of which are currently getting subcutaneous fluids daily and 5 of those are also on meds for loose stools. The 5 kittens are 5 week old orphans who never had mother's milk so their tummies just aren't handling food well. 4 of the others are a mom and her 2 week old babies - mom is a beautiful white 1yo with heterochromia, but she's very thin and doesn't like to drink fluids so her milk supply is low. As a result, her babies have to be supplemented and all of them get fluids for dehydration. My 10th foster is one I took in for a woman who needed emergency care for her little black kitten. I got him fixed with her consent and he has been here 3 months now... I have a kitty nursery in my home and I could not be happier or more fulfilled. ♡ I wish you were coming to Orlando, I missed you last time you were here. Thank you for what you do and for promoting fostering... ♡

I have a 2 year old girl who does the same thing! I think that it's some kind of parental instincts kicking in and causing em to rush over asking "WHERE'S THE BABY IT NEEDS ME" 😂

I am a 53 yr old guy and almost in tears after watching this. I want to adopt them all but I can't. But my AMAZING wife Sarah has promised me a baby kitty. Preferably a lady tabby but all baby kitties are bundles of cute waiting for a good and loving home.

I’m a 19 year old guy. My fiancé and I want to have fur babies when we move in together. He can’t decide on what animal though. so far, he’s wanted a Fox, a gecko, an owl, a sphinx, a snake, and an alligator! 😂 I’m trying to wittle the options down to something less exotic though! You know what I love the most about this? Hannah you've saved and raised and loved 1000s of kittens in your lifetime and yet everytime you see another kitten your face lights up as if you've seen one for the first time 😅 You never really get used to the cuteness huh

I love how all kitten hauls on UA-cam are “kitten supply haul” “ what I bought for my kittens” and kitten lady is just like “look at the kittens I bought!” Love that!
"Shopping" the shelter nursery for difficult case kittens to foster is decidedly one of the best kind of "hauls".
This is the best "shopping" vlog I've ever seen. I wish my chronic illnesses allowed me more energy to foster, but fingers crossed one day I can!!! Thank you for helping more furry friends ❤️

You could always foster cats that are a bit older than this, as they need foster families too, and are often much less work! Hoping that your illnesses improve as much as possible :)

Yeah, that Kennel Employee KNEW that Hannah was a Volunteer Superstar and so gave her that package of a Litter or Neonates that were 'sucking on each other, which isn't healthy' ... and so they had to be separated out, taking up 4 or 5 cages, and there was the Wobbly One (Button Face). I knew that Hannah was going to step up and take a Big Commitment. I hope the Wobbley One grows out of it... that it's brain development had fallen behind somehow but will now catch up.
We try to do the most we can to help. I was really proud that we were able to help them empty 5 kennels and to take some of their more high needs babies off their hands!

I discovered Kitten Lady a couple months ago and I have learned so much! I'm only in my freshmen year of high school so I have a while. But once I am older I really want to look into fostering. Well they would have them in their own area, not with the kittens. That is only one room, it is safe to say the humane society has other rooms with puppies..

If you keep every cute cat you foster, you're going to have a house full of cats and no room to actually foster and then adopt out. Fostering is taking care of a kitten until it can go to a permanent home, then taking another kitten, getting it to its home, on and on and on.

I really want to foster during my gap year in 2021. I’ll likely be doing retail, running a craft kind of business or something similar but still living at home so I’ll be able to find the time. I’ll probably run my parents up the wall getting up & taking care of them all the time though lol

She talked about on her Instagram and basically said that her health suddenly declined and when she was taken to the vet, they found out she had a abdominal cavity filled with fluid. “ She was diagnosed with congenital heart disease and died while receiving supportive”

I volunteer with an animal rescue group in Brooklyn, NYC and just discovered your show about a week ago, you are absolutely an incredible resource!
Although my main contact within the group is a seasoned pro & gives me a priceless amount of support, including supplies, etc. I still refer to your videos for the thorough and clear information you provide. I should say, especially these past few days as I’m caring for 9 kittens we just rescued in my neighborhood.

I also adopted what was initially a little special needs kitten. She and her family had cat flu within the first week of being born and as a result all but this little fighter passed away. She had a fully enclosed left eye that looked like it was pushed inwards a bit, we all assumed she may have lost or ruptured the eye underneath due to the flu.
For the first 4-5 weeks it was going to get her eye surgically removed and cleaned out when she gained more weight. Her foster mum Tiff cared for the kitten, and did such an amazing job. The little cyclops to be; opened her eye one day to reveal that there was actually a fully in tact eye ball, and with that they rushed her to the vet and got all the nasty gunk cleared out.
Once she was old enough we took her home and cared very well for the cheeky and cuddly Torti we named Pixel and helped her improve on judging depth of toys and other objects, she now has 80% vision and she is a super cuddly sook who's purring loudly on my lap as I type ^-^;
Thank you to all the foster mums for kittens out there, and those who are willing to adopt these little babies that deserve lots of love from their new parents!
I work at a shelter in northern ca and we just build our kitten nursery last year. This is our second kitten season and it has saved so many lives. Thank you for fostering. It really does save lives. ❤

Oh. My. Gosh. I have never clicked on something so fast in my life until you, Kitten Lady, and your videos! I am so amazed and appreciative of what you do for the tiny but mighty babes. I get emotional when the few don't make it but my spirits lift when (if they have siblings) their litter thrives.

My cat has CH and I adopted her as an adult, she had spent her whole life in a shelter so it took some time to socialize her, but she is the best cat in the world and adopting her was the best thing I have ever done. Last month we celebrated 3 years together!!

Thank you for all your videos! I have fostered 7 kittens and I never knew how I could do it. Until i turned to your video and i udnerstood different strategies to feed them. Now they grew up to be big well fed and well looked after kittens.
