Beautiful car Joe. Nice that you had your friend come and give you some expert helping hands. That trim looked like a two person job. Darren going to have a first class ride for sure. Thanks for sharing. 👍🇺🇸👍
That Matador red is just the perfect color for that car, I can’t even imagine it any other color after watching this project. Top quality work brother, if all he wanted was a good driver quality car this ought to completely blow him away! 👍
In addition, I also REALLY appreciated how well you guys installed the window trim. When I hired a place to install the windshield on our 69 Charger, it was obvious he did not know what he was doing. I had to stop him when he pulled out the big orange dead blow hammer before he installed it. You demonstrated the CORRECT way to install that window trim on both the front and rear windshields. This goes for ANY car of this era. Thank You for doing it right!
Joe - Thank you again for your attention to detail on my car. It's amazing and gone well beyond our expectations. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Although it was never this nice when my Dad surprised me with it back in 1986, it was this original color, Matador Red. It's just so awesome to see what it actually looked like when it came off the assembly line.
The method you were using to polish the trim was a way better result than 00 steel wool like most people tell you to use. Well done sir! She's coming together, I can't wait until burnouts and smoke requires the re-purchase of new tires on that sick fish!
@elijah2078 - Yes this owner is VERY excited! Joe is a master at his trade. There was absolutely no debate regarding who the right person was to do this job.

Joe you may want to pin this comment for those that choose to do there own trim buffing. I have had to buff countless parts for mercury outboards and others over the years and harley parts and mopar parts. One thing you showed was buffing across the length and i do not suggest ever doing that. Always go with the length. If or when the wheel catches it will slice though your skin like a hot knife through butter. Ask me how i know😂. As always your work is impeccable and eye for detail spot on. That will be one very sharp car when done. ❤
Red hot and almost ready to rock and roll. Still building slowly but gathering parts for my 69 F.B. 440 stroker 5 speed but like the coups as well. I owned a red with black guts with white trim buckets and console with a black Vinal top 67 396 4 speed Camaro RS/SS and loved it but look at it's roof design shape and all those who reject the Barracuda's coups shape to a fastback only is silly. And this is coming from a CHIVE guy. Looking forward to watching this fish run in the streets.
