    In your past vids, i noticed people complaining about you bringing a axe, and how you shouldnt take down trees. From what ive seen, they are always dead trees, and these people must not live in houses. I try to support you by watching the adds. Keep up the cool informative vids.

    Hey Joe, I felt compelled to tell you how much I enjoy your videos, they are educational, inspirational, as well as very relaxing. I have been recovering from a terrible hit and run motorcycle accident that has kept me out of the woods for far too long. Your videos have been very instrumental in my recovery, as I get my fix of the outdoors through your videos. Please keep doing what you're doing, you touch lives in a positive way! This world needs more men of your generation like you! Great father, husband, dog owner, outdoorsman and although I don't know you personally I consider you a friend. Thanks again.

    the "figure" at 2:00 isn't really a figure, it's a leaf hanging from a stick.. look at 1:55 and at 1:58 you will see that it is on his right and as he walks past it, the illusion of a man is shown

    Hey Joe, instead of carrying regular butter in a ziploc bag, if you go to your local breakfast restaurant they will probably gladly sell you some of the liquid butter prep which they use on their flat tops for cooking eggs and such. It tastes great, isn't nearly as messy and is really easy to carry in a small squeeze bottle in your pack and it doesn't require refrigeration!

I really tried to find the man what you talking about... but I think you see thoose leafs.. it first appear on right side, than Joes head covers it, and reappear on the left... and it's clearly visible that it's not even moving... and has human shape but it's closer to Joe rather than it could be a man running in the distance... The whole "elevated bowl" thing comes from the fact that a lot of pure-bread dogs on the larger side (Irish wolfhounds, great danes, afgans) are at risk of getting bloat. You are right that wild dogs (wolves/ferals) would normally drink from the ground but then wild dogs haven't been subjected to selective breeding and are considerably less likely to carrying hereditary genetic defects. Flat faced breeds (pugs, bulldogs, king Charles spaniel) perhaps suffer most from this, poor things can't even breath properly.

    I enjoyed your outing, but I have noticed in past videos you have had to defend yourself because of a comment someone made about how you were treating your dog. While we want to care for our best friends (dogs) some people think you are to treat them as humans and forget they are animals that are naturally equipped to survive in the outdoors to different degrees even though they are domesticated.

    Joe, pitch that jar lid and pack a sliced onion ring for the fried egg support. A green pepper section is a great option too. I enjoy the vids, keep it up.

    How do you safely transport eggs while bushcrafting?

    • @josephallen19
      @josephallen19  8 років тому +2

      You can do a few things, I wrap mine in a papaer towel, and put them in my cooking pot...but you can crack them into a water bottle too

    Hubby and just enjoyed another one of your videos. Can't believe we sat there and watched you cook that whole breakfast but your pointers are so helpful. Poor Scout, he had his eye more on that sausage but eggwhites were just as appreciated. SO disappointed, no info on batoning that English muffin, LOL. Thanks again for all the lessons.

      I have watched this multiple times and I can confirm it was a blurry leaf as Kambe Burut has already stated, you can see said leaf right before he passes it and as he turns you can see the lighting effect along with the unfocused background makes it look like someone. its neat but nothing to worry about.

      we re lucky mate, in north America we only have to worry about the black widow,brown recluse, and deer tic (Lyme disease) I live in Virginia and our snakes are the Tiber rattler(Steve Irwin, RIP caught some in my home county) copper head and water moccasin AKA cotton mouth.

      rhys jolly wow your just complaining that where you live is terrible. He was not afraid of the spider 🕷 he just noticed it was there. Think about the good things where you live not the bad things. I always think thoughts like “I love the place I live there are so many nice people and the spiders keep the bugs away from my home and the world. Without spiders I wouldn’t be able to see at all because there would be too many bugs 🐜.”

    Sassafrass is the root beer tree. The root bark smells so deliciously strong! It contains something called safrole, which is actually illegal to possess in pure form because it's the main precursor in MDMA synthesis. Sassafrass trees are super cool!

    Great video - I can't get out often so I feel like I am bushcrafting vicariously through videos like this. I appreciate the whole fire set up - most videos end at the knife work and then there is this amazing blaze. Thanks! Oh, and that Gasconade is a thing of wonder...
