Dale Murphy but no Eddie Murray? Baffling

Nice video. This 1982 Topps set is a Big Monster, lots of color variations, Blackless versions, Blueless versions, Pascual Perez no position, George Foster A's with signature and the tom seaver T'ED. About the Blackless version, only 2 cards in ebay are True Reggie Jackson Blackless, the others are mislabeled topps and no Reggie jackson A's in PSA 9 in existence, is a mislabeled topps of regular card. I have the 83% of topps Blackless set, very difficult to put together in special complete clean blackless with hector cruz card.

@@WaxPackGods yesterday PSA Remove the PSA 9. The most highest grade for Reggie A's Blackless are 2 or 3 PSA 7, because one of the 7's is mislabeled.

I remember '82 being a very boring year for collecting as a kid. The weird "Hockey stick looking" Topps set was the best out of the big three, but I always felt that was because the Fleer and Donruss offerings sucked more. Fleer recycled the design from the previous year, but used really awful, blurry photos. Donruss was an improvement from the previous year, but it was plain and boring. It didn't help that some of us were still very pissed off due to the player's strike from the previous season. I don't think it was until '83 that I got excited again with baseball cards. Besides Cal Ripken, I think Kent Hrbek was other chase rookie if I recall.

Similar experience for me. I *had* a few cards in '81 and '82, but they were just piled up with my other toys. The '83s were the ones that got me hooked.
