Is it ok to leave my ECON button on all the time? I do not need excess speed, but would rather utilize fuel economy. Just purchased my 2020 HR-V Sport... any tips and trick greatly appreciate. BTW, GREAT video!
The feature to automatically close the driver's window is a safety risk. I tried it at the dealer and the window would have hurt my arm if it was in the way. I tried to stop the window from closing, but it was too powerful. Imagine a child's arm!! Many years ago a french car company (Peugeot ??) had this and the critics were upset about such a safety risk. I was very surprised to see this feature.
great car love it only 2 gripes the center console is a mess you find out if you have one. the other is the odometer being obstructed by the steering wheel if you adjust it at all. I mean even up and in it still covers the 60mph mark a little.
I like the revised looks of this 2019 HR-V. It definitely looks a lot more up-to-date... Especially considering the prerefreshed model's slightly dated appearance from some angles. Great work, Mike!!!

@MikesCarInfo, what really makes me upset is that the Euro Spec 2019 HRV gets the following: 1) Manual transmission option 2) Panoramic glass roof option 3) Leather seating with manual 4) push button start, led front and rear, smoked tinted rear, navigation and most importantly 5) a 1.5 Vtec Turbo option for Spring 2019 I mean WTF HONDA?!?!

WAIT. In 2020 the HR-V will supposedly, most likely, be redesigned and brought up to specs with the more powerful Asian / European model, the Honda Vezel; also with more comfort options such as a panoramic sunroof.
So I bought this car in October someone crashed me against a wall ramp in the express way. I had minor, minor pain only in my left leg. Car kept me 99% alive. Strong car. I will definitely attribute that.

Hi from the Uk. Found your review interesting as waiting for the Sport to arrive here. Currently we only have normally aspirated 1.5 ltr which is woefully underpowered. Not sure about those glossy black wheel arches. Think they will wear badly.

Ok I'll try :) "Stash" means to put away or hide something. If you have trash or waste in your vehicle then you can "stash" it inside the bin or container. The "Trash Stash" is a waste bin or trash can for your vehicle.

Great review! Solid car.... but personally I would save a little money and get the FWD if I wanted this particular car. Save on fuel economy and initial price, plus the fact that Honda’s AWD is laughable.
The Sport, in Australia .. is called the HR-V RS .. and the gloss/piano black skirt is only available on this model ... I purchased one and all my lights are LED .. the headlights, and rest are LED .. it's keyless start ... full leather not fabric. .. you guys are being ripped off in the USA/Canada.
Why can Honda make this HR-V cap less just like the Honda Civic? That would save them lots of money doing away with buying million of cap for their HR-V.
How can the all brand new HRV have the dorkiest dash bord of Honda's production (if not of all SUVs) ?? It's a shame because this car is great in many ways : modularity, reliability...
not liking the new bulbous grill design. The new headlights are a heinous mess of angles & materials, just to try to create some family resemblance with the other models. The LED lights available in other markets would have been a sleeker choice. No more aux jack in the center bottom console. 2 USB sockets now instead. That new cupholder looks way too complicated, especially in the dark, and people with rings on will still get their hands jammed in it. Was hoping to see the Apple Carplay demonstrated; nope.

The HR-V Sport in Europe has Turbo engine, same as Civic Sport. No sun roof or panoramic roof though.

Dealers might install them but they do not come with wheel locks from the factory.

WesternSTi most of the Honda AWD systems are laughable. Fuelly is showing about 28 mpg average for fwd and awd.
