It's like one of the few torn and restored routine that makes sense because you have the motivation of putting back two different cards back together and not the one you just torn to pieces without a reason...
There is something very wrong with the different colored backs part. Edit 2:45 should the backs also change? I mean the queen had 1 color on the back so there should be a red half and blue half on both cards
@@salamangkero666 but same back? I do not want to throw shade on this gimmick. I bet it is amazing and I have no idea how it is done. However, I have not been in magic for much time and noticed it immediately. I am mentioning this to warn magicians before they do this trick because I bet they will have to explain it or be questioned about it. For example, my first idea would be that the magician pasted the halves together to a same colored back. Because I know some magic I do not think that is the case since it would be some serious sleight of hand. Either way, in the end the trick loses some of its magic since the spectator thinks he knows how it is done even when he is wrong. That is why the best magic tricks are impossible to conceive which is why magicians top off their trick by giving the cards away

Well... I came up with something similar but with a single card and four pieces. Would love to see if our techniques are the same or this one is far more diabolical. Great stuff team ellusionist!

Another promo video that just shows the highlights... doesn't anyone ever just do a simple one camera shot performance so we can see how it looks for REAL!!!!! All we need now is the deep voice-over, and we have a Hollywood movie trailer!

Took me literally 40 mins tops to make about 26 gimmicks. I timed myself. Of course I already know how certain elements on how to make a gimmicked card. If you know what I'm talking about, you should be ok too.

Miguel Cruz, Revive is easier to perform but Face Off is more impossible-looking as the spectators sign the cards BEFORE they are torn. Both magical nevertheless. Get them both.
With revive, you have a timeframe when it comes to performing the trick after you made the gimmick. With face off, you can perform it whenever you want as long as you have the gimmick.

Their tricks end up promising more than they deliver, are geared mainly to high school. kids, and are over-priced compared to offerings by Penguinmagic & others. Can the cards be torn vertically?
The gimmick might be a bit trickier to make but nothing really stopping you.
Do I need to confidently split cards and reseal? I love the look of this but I don't want to buy only for it to sit in my draw.
By the end of the trick, are the two cards slightly thicker than they should be? And do I need to destroy more than two cards to create one gimmick?
