Used to do this about 15 years ago when I couldn't do the Ego/Cardini Change properly. I asked the spectators to focus on the corner/pip. When they react to the change, I continue with the clean-up on the off-beat.
100% angle sensitive. It can look great filmed from a perfectly accurate angle. Does not work with people just slightly spaced in front of you. There are far better ways to do it, which also require more practice and dexterity.
you can do this standing, surrounded, at waist level, so everyone is looking down onto the face of the card. If you or the spectator is sitting or there is a table in the way, there can't be anyone on your right, if there are, turn right before doing the move honestly why not just try it in front of the mirror and figure it out yourself?
Then you probably shouldn't try to watch magic tutorials, because sorry to break it to you, even people without hands can do magic... so... ANYONE can do it. That's the beauty of magic, anyone can do it, with little expense... others are there to enjoy not knowing how simple it really is. Calling it stupid because anyone can do it defeats the purpose of magic being an "anyone can do it" field.
So just a cardini change

Not what I was expecting at ALL! I will definitely be utilizing this in my repertoire!
