Installing DIY Deck Railing LED lights

The wiring used was mostly 18gauge stranded. The wire from the from the dimmer to the junction box under the deck was salvaged wire from a vacuum cleaner or other appliance.
Outdoor wire exposed to sunlight in hot climates needs to be tolerant of UV rays or shielded / coated to slow its demise. the above ground wiring was 18/2 or 22/2 shielded security wire purchased at the local hardware store.

Thanks. This install is still going strong with no issues with use every night. I did not do WiFi control on this install as tech like that and the operator did not mix. You could put a one color WiFi controller where the dimmer is. If you want to still use the light sensor you may want to put it after the controller so the controller is always on and the last light mode will turn on with the sensor. You obviously would need WiFi coverage.
If you have Alexa, google home or other home automation it could control the time schedule. A controller supporting the magic home WiFi app would be an example.

Would you mind checking the how to program LED RF remotes. I have a question. My question is can I program two remotes to use on the same strip of led lights and if so how.

What are the IP65 accessories required for wiring up the outdoor Aluminium hand railings with the mains in a balcony of a new residential project.

Once you get to dc volts you can use small dry boxes, ip65 gel connectors (which I find over sized for dc and expensive). I like to cap connections and seal them with silicone. Hiding everything is the hard part. I try to position the lights away from direct water contact from above.
Remember to not make you connection the lowest point in at any connection points. Water tends to flow to the lowest point before forming a drip that gravity takes off.
Ip65 power supplies are sealed but they leave you to fend for yourself on the connectors at some point. Usually easier to put it all in a dry panel if your budget affords it.
