By the way, why don’t you ask regular people that hold down jobs and that are successful and how they coped with getting out of it? I’m gladly talk to you. It’s a lack of community as well, but that’s not all.

It's one of those "it's not a huge problem yet so we won't dedicate huge resources".. Which is wrong of course, easier to stop a problem before it escalates, but that is what it is..

So much empathy in this speech ❤ I think this is the right approach while searching for solutions. We have no clue about addiction without first talking to people who struggle with it every day. Thank you so much for searching for new ways to help people!🙏

Yes, and so many preconceived notions in this field too. Many opinions from clueless people - it must stop.

@@stephaneboisjoli1320Exactly. And I agree, stereotyping & labeling people, lumping them all into one group ("addicts" )(i hate even using that word), is of no help to anyone.

With the explosion and negative and violent behavior and schools over the last 10 years, is this problem gonna grow so big that society won’t be able to address it?

You mean shootings? This is a US problem. The solution is mostly known but nobody wants to do it. There's simply too many guns available there. No other country comes close to working guns availability.

It's what university people do. And this one takes the silver spoon out and goes and talks to the people. Takes the risks required to try to get the answers... Sure, ideally it would be some ghetto person who managed to graduate someway, but what is really required is an open mind.
