Traveling is nice but it is good to be home.
Good Saturday Morning! Glad you enjoyed your ride. My friend, do leave the camera at home, sometimes. Enjoy the ride for the sake of the ride itself. A FWIW..... Usually, my sister's first thought, when outdoors, is to grab her camera. By the time she gets it, whatever she's trying to enjoy is gone. For example, there's an eagle's nest about a 1/2 mile away. Once in a great while, an eagle will either perch in a nearby tree or land in the field in front of the house. She's usually frustrated because she didn't get to her camera, in time to record it.
"Sis, enjoy the moment for what it is. You lose much of the opportunity to enjoy because you're fiddling with that camera." Yes, enjoy the moment without worrying about lighting, wobble, sound, bugs on the lens, road bounce and so on. Then, when the notion strikes, take us along with you. It'll be like a neighbor stopping by and asking if we want to ride with him to Lowes Home Improvement -- Tool Section!

Good vid! Its always good to chat with the missus about the ride after. The good, the bad..things we did right or wrong in reaction to bad 4 wheelers. It helps us be in sync together on our bikes and safer, more defensive than the last time. I like your and Charlys style of doing the same post ride talks.
We have basically decided not to go back to Louisiana. The crumbling roads are never gonna be fixed with a Democrat government.

Nothing better than a long ride. I just got done with a ride through Vermont into upstate New York. Country up there is so pretty. Mountain roads along side rivers and lakes. Sometimes I have to remind myself to keep my eyes in the road and not get distracted by the scenery.
I rode every square inch of Maine, mass, NH. Vermont, northern New York. Berkshires, Adirondacks. Beautiful country!!

I've been thinking about taking a short ride maybe to the local skateboard park, and maybe enjoying a sodapop while watching the kids skate. Its too nice a weekend to not be outside.
