Thank you for your videos. Brad would be so proud of you. Living alone now I often don't see or talk anyone all week until Sunday Church with the exception of the gentleman who mows my lawn. I cannot do it myself anymore. Every morning the first thing I would do would be to check out Brad's posting. Loved to just hear him just talk about his day. It was like having a visit from a friend. You were both blessed to have one another. He will be missed. It is important to take care of yourself as you go through this journey. I wish you comfort and peace going forward.
Thanks to everyone for watching and commenting. The fog is starting to clear somewhat. I will keep putting up videos just to keep his channel alive and going. I want to share life after death of a life partner. I am really going to try not to push the ‘I give up button’
I have enjoyed you abd brad since you were drilling your own well at your old house, I loved brads stories ,with your commentary. You and brad were a good addition to my day. I Loved how B,rad would set his mind to a seemingly endless task and stay at it untill it was done. Keep us updated via youtube how we can help. You two are good Americans , I wish we were neighbors. I wont fprget you both.
@@saltyshellback you have no idea how blessed we were. Blessed more than I will ever deserve. I still think he is going to cough or sneeze to let me know he is still here.
Hi Charly, I was thinking that perhaps you could return his harley helmet that he just purchased. Try calling the store you bought it from and explain what happened.
Charlie you have to keep up your strength....please eat something every now and then. Soup and crackers, microwavable dishes...I wish I were there, I would be making you food all the time. Your doin great right now...These little videos not only help us to move on but I bet they help you as well. Take your time, just talk to us at your pace and what you can handle at the moment. I'm sure this is a moment by moment situation for you, sooner or later it will be a day by day and so on.....just know that we are here for you, praying for you and mentally lifting you up everyday. Blessings to you right now.
@@eremoshomestead7406 I hate marking time by his death. I still look at the clock on stove-which he never figured out how to set- and count the hours since he left. I can say d- but I can’t write it. I guess we are never ready or prepared for that moment.
Oh Charly, those dreadful passwords are a guessing game. If you know someone that works on computers they can retrieve them. Most likely something that he could easily remember. Your faith will carry you through this journey. I wanted to go more than I wanted to stay and the only reason was my children that I stayed and didn’t want to condemn my soul to hell. My pastor, family and friends are what got me through my husband’s death. Just know you are not alone in this grieving process, we all loved Brad too. Maybe we could mail you a check or money order instead of it going to an account that you can’t access. I don’t know, just throwing that out there. If I can help you, please let me know. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! Much love being sent to you ❤️🙏
I have a huge mental block in the asking and receiving help. We just didn’t. With a non functioning brain- I don’t remember asking anyone for anything. Our friend David has come over and did a few things for Brad and I will be forever grateful. I am on his checking account and it is supposed to switch over to me in the event of his death. But the direct deposit that goes into his account is in his name so I don’t know if they will freeze it or not take and deposit it. When Bev’s husband died the bank wouldn’t cash her checks that she got from his company because they were in his name. So I think I will bite the bullet and talk to the attorney that did our will-shouldn’t cost much🤬
@@bctruck Here, in NC, when both names are on a checking account, either person could write a check. Each of us received separate direct deposit SS payments. There was no limitation on which one could write checks on the total balance of the account. It was a different matter when we received paper checks from somewhere. Any check written to my spouse had to be taken to the courthouse in our county. (Can't remember if it was the Clerk of Court or Register of Deeds office. I had to work with both to get everything settled.) The value of the paper check was added to the estate. Then, I would get authorization to cash the check. If the rules are the same where you live, as soon as you get the death certificate, take the steps needed to become administrator of his estate. They'll give you the guidelines on how to handle the conversion of what was his (on paper) from him to you. Hope this helps, a bit.
@@bctruck When my wife died I got a government check made out to both of us! The bank would not cash it because we both had to sign it! Could not convince the teller that she was dead and couldn't sign!! By luck my boss had retired from Chase bank and he told me to go through the drive thru and not say anything. Worked! Course that was 20 years ago, don't know what may have changed since then.
I always loved uploading a vid just to see Brad's comment. I still find myself making vids and being like "I wonder what Brad will say about this? And then I remember and have stop the camera and get my composure back. His last comment was on my video where I "re-machined" a Honda head at home. He said "Watched from start to finish on my big screen. Nice job Tom! It’s probably never been that close in specs from the factory." I will miss him. I put all my passwords in a password manager and then leave the master password to the password manager in an envelope in my gun safe.

I have a collection of Brad's knives and two pitcher pump wells that my wife, Faith, and I dug at his instructions..they still work ! I also have a pew pew that was his... I never fire it. Just think of me when your generator is turned on.. I miss him 😢
you said that help is hard to accept but you should not feel bad if folks would like to help by say a goo fund me route or something along that line. Think of it as one last knife purchase or something that will help you and the fuzz balls have a bit more security moving forward. This of course is a personal desiciion but just throwing in my two cents. Keep moving forward and living you best life for you and he will keep living on trough you.
Good morning Charly. The Super Thanks money goes directly towards his youtube revenue. I believe Google keeps half of each thanks & the other half goes to the channel. UA-cam pays out on the 21st of each month as long as the channel has at least $100 in revenue.
Okay you just gave me a huge sigh of relief. This is hard for me to talk about and I tried to stay out of Brad’s happy place (UA-cam) thanks for the info
The vids only been up a short while and only at 40 views, but only 20 likes, come on people push the freakin button it costs nothing to press like and feed youtube bots! update: 5 hours 192/58, your not really trying people!
I’ve been praying for God to comfort you and I know He’s right there with you! Your videos have been comforting to me and I’m sure the rest of Brads YT family. My husband and I have said over and over how much we’re going to miss Brad and can’t believe he’s gone. If you can access his phone (mines an iPhone) it may have some of his passwords saved.
I remember in a video when he repaired or exchanged a pew pew he mentioned he had a person who would buy all those in an emergency. For a fair price. Someone may remember more details. Hope this helps
I can- his phone is my life line right now. I need to keep his channel active. It’s my only source of income outside my s.s. for what that’s worth, not much.
Good advice! Much love!👍🏽😊❤️🇺🇸
