I have a Gen-3 Flex for the iPhone 13. It’s great for protection, it looks cool, it’s comfortable, and it’s THIN. But the biggest gripe I have with it is that the back has little to no grip, so it slides easily on inclines.
Love the rebel branding being recessed, details as well as the silicone. The fit is great. The safe magnet & mag safe battery pack is so convenient & puck. Excellent preview Pat. 👌

It’s really expensive tough. Example if we in Sweden want to buy this case the shipping cost is half the price the case. Would be awesome if the company had free shipping when the price of the case is so high. So many are looking at other options because of this.
The magnets aren’t actually any “stronger” than most other cases. (Most use N52 magnets like apple specifies). The field is stronger (and unidirectional) because they’re aligned in a Halbach array which pushes most of the magnetic field to one side. I wish more reviewers would look into this and talk about it so that consumers would understand and manufacturers would care about putting it in their cases.
Really? I’ve seen some people say that & I can kind of see where they’re coming from. Phone rebel listened & the 15 series added Grip on both sides for those that are upgrading.
That bounce case is definitely something serious lol but the gen 4 is right up there with it. I’d feel confident dropping my phone in this case in any situation.
Yeah, that’s one thing with Aramid fiber is the smudges. The 14 series has a new coating on it that does a pretty good job but the old ones def get fingerprints & stuff.
@@PatsTech another thing I’m noticing is when I’m charging while I’m using my iPhone I’ve been getting warnings that charging is stopped until iPhone cools down. Never got that before on my other case.
Yeah they do as well. Most, if not all, Aramid/carbon fiber cases suffer from a lot of smudges from your hand. I’ve never heard of the overheating problem though. That’s odd.

I had the Limitless on my 8+, it wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. Wasn’t very comfortable to hold imo, did look good though, and felt confident as far as drop protection goes
No, I wouldn’t say it’s bulky. For the amount of protection you get, they kept it fairly slim. It’s not as slim as some cases out there but I would give it middle of the pack.

I always put my phone face down, the Lip on the front is rubbery, and no problem at all with sliding around.
@@sprinkleddonuts6094 there are times when I need my phone on my classroom desk, but it slides off. It got better with Gen 4.

I had the Gen-3 for my iPhone 13. The thin part of the case around the buttons started to peel back with time. Did they fix this on the Gen-4?

Ahhh man, I’d go Gen 4. The Mous is good but the gen 4 is just more refined imo & gives some serious protection.

How’s the grip on the phone sir
There aren’t any grip strips or pattern to make it grippy but the way they cut the edges of the case plus the material makes the grip great imo.

It’s not bad. I would definitely like to see something on the sides to help but overall it’s good. It doesn’t slip out of my hands with daily use.
