Extreme and excessive guilt is a destroyer of your mood, it makes you feel as though you have no peace and physically you feel tense. OCD makes you ruminate on things then feeling bad or guilty after the ruminating
Unconditional Acceptance in all parts of my life has been life changing! Thanks for this video
👌🏻
Sam, this video is so valuable. Thank you so much for making it. And please know this - your honesty and your bravery are an inspiration!
I watched this video and was stuck in a terrible awful mental state with figuring out how to recover from OCD. Since reading Albert Ellis’s books, I can say that incorporating U.S.A. Over time has been game changing. It’s only been about a week but I’m already noticing improvement in my thought perception. Thank you everyone at this channel for speaking openly about these topics and giving invaluable resources on how to cope and recover. ❤
Always great to see you back on the channel
Cheers Nick!
Excellent video and breakdown of guilt related themes it needs to be talked about more. Good job mate 👍
Hi Sam, this video and some of your others have been an absolute eureka moment for me. I’ve been struggling with OCD on and off most of my life and I believe this is the key to letting those thoughts go. Much appreciated and all the best with your journey. Cheers! Chris
Very good video. Unconditional acceptance of you, others, and life. ❤️
Wow thanks. I didn’t realize this was a part of OCD. I struggle badly with guilt and ruminating on it.
Thank you very much for the video :). I am also suffering with OCD with topics bringing a lot of guilt. Unconditional Acceptance is new for me, I need to practice
Excellent explanation. You verbalized my struggle and I will practice the insights in the video for ovecoming OCD and relief. Thank you!
I also have guilt related ocd. Nice explanation 🌸

Thanks Bo!
Thank you for the video
But my false memories are so Evil my intrusive thoughts will tell me ‘how can you live in peace and try self acceptance after doing this’ and wouldn’t unconditional self acceptance mean I’m accepting the possibility of doing such a deed? When I know I didn’t do it but my thoughts don’t let me rest And my intrusive thoughts will fight my self acceptance it will tell me I’m deluded for trying
Im working hard with my acceptance and its helping, my biggest question is can me telling myself I acceptance myself and my life no matter what happened in the past when the thoughts come up become a compulsion? Its hard to say Acceptance so I think its ERP as long as I dont dive into examination or figuring out the memory/thought
I think also negative thinking. Like everything negative about ur partner or soneone u saw. Like fir example same shies another girl is wearing ur like they look good on her n not on u. Or keeping soneone down n u feel like u have to tell them cause that thought came to ur head. Us this part of ocd?
Yes that's ROCD!
Also is acceptance agreeing that it happened?
