You won't believe what suspension is under this stock-looking sleeper 1st Gen....Hint: there's a cantilever setup hidden in the rear with ADS 3.0" x 14" travel MBR shocks. It's definitely a ride you don't want to miss!

Insane
That rear setup is insane. Let me know when this setup is available for the tundra lol
That's insane 😮😮😮😮😮
goddamn this thing is sano!! I would have never expected this to be so unique. what a killer build!!! outstanding!! cheers
Thank you!
That is freakin neat! Put me on your waitlist!
We are going to get you on that list!
Dang that’s an awesome build! Could you share what valving you used for the 450 springs? Thanks.
Where can i see this rip at!? Thats alot of travel to also be able to keep that bed space! Very well thought out and built set up!
As an owner of my very own sweet 2001 PreRunner where did that rear bumper come from?
@@mchalky6133 this is one that we designed and built for this build. We are thinking about building a few more if people are interested
@@Rockandroadperformance I'm interested. I hear that there's a Jeep bumper that fits? I have an '04 white xtracab just like that - trd off-road manual transmission. 180k original motor and clutch/transmission. I'd love to spruce her up a little bit. Ultra-light and tight like that bumper is what's up. I will check out your other vids. I want to see it rip. What motor is in this truck? The 3.4?
@@Rockandroadperformance Thank you
Why? Its a 2wd with what sounded like a factory 3.4…. Why have a 10 grand suspension on a 2wd 20yr old truck?
I just dont see the reasoning spending 10 grand on a suspension setup for a 10 grand at most truck.. plus its not like its going to be running any prerun events or going offroad at high speeds with factory height and no frame upgrades. And the powerhouse sounded like the factory thing so unless they’re going to bolt up a turbo setup on it with fully built internals, plexiglass the interior, build a full cage and go full send than that work will just go to waste.. some old lady or highschool kids gonna rearend the thing and with no bumper its just gonna wipe the underside clean..
@@Z-Ack Maybe just for the love the owner has for that truck. Probably, as you say, it's not going to see any prerunner events or anything but the owner loves the truck. I have a 99 Explorer Sport V6 RWD just like this truck. It is my first car and it'll be my daily for the next years and if I could I would do something like this truck also. It's not going to become a full prerunner truck or anything like that, just some people attach to certain vehicles and to wonderfull things like this. For the love of art. Cheers
