HI Sista, Mama Kim's looks so Ono. Kimchi is great for gut health. I eat it every day. I like the older fermented one the best. Kimchi with steamed rice is also Ono. We are still here watching your wonderful station. Spending a lot of time taking care of my disabled wife Debbie. Take care and God Bless.

Aw I hope Debbie is doing better. Kim chi is great but I try not to eat much rice the rest of the week. My body doesn't process it well even though it's so ono! You guys take care!

You are at the building that I went to my family doctor as a child and dermatologist until I became an adult! At the beginning of your video, I couldn't believe where you were! Poke looks really good. Lol

Aloha Misty: Happy Monday to you and the ohana! Thank you for introducing us to these delicious bowls of Asian fusion. The food looks great and really delicious. That kim chee must have been a great side for the rice bowl. Looks like this will be a healthy dish and enough for a whole day of eating. Great find! Looking forward to the next blog. Much 🧧 and 🤙, my fellow 🐯-alumni!

Aloha Misty! Mahalo for displaying the diff bowls. Tje Chirashi looks like it fan fill 2 ppl so 20 dpllads is worth it. I just tried my first variety of Poke bowls and Ahi at the Hanapaa Market at the Koko Marina and it was soo good. Have you been? Def would have to check this area out too. Mahalo for another great review Misty🤙👍

Hey Misty!! The fish looked sooooo fresh both in the poke and in the chirashi. The poke definitely is reminiscent of the ‘mainland’s poke’ with all those sides. The big difference though is mainland cuts the pieces of fish sooooooooo small so you’re not really getting much of the poke. That’s the biggest difference we love when coming here to Hawai’i. We also love just getting the poke by the pound which again isn’t really an option in the mainland. Mahalo again for taking us along with you. Will have to add this place to ‘next times” list!

“If you’re old-fashioned, it’ll take coins”😂, that’s us, old school! 😆it always prevents me from going into the city trying to figure out how to pay the meter if it doesn’t take coins, so I go on Sunday, free parking. Inari-cone sushi, no like aburage?!

    • @FoodFiend

Those bowls look bomb. Didn't know that place was there -- farthest I got was the Diagnostics Lab for blood test and Mama Kim's would be the other side. So I just gotta catch the 1 minute bus ride up Kaheka and then walk aaaaallll da way to back my bldg lol Have an awesome weekend Misty!

I admit i'm old school with parking meters, i literally have a ziplock bag of quarters i keep in my car to feed meters 😳😆. But really i'm trying to lower the risk of people stealing my debit card info by using card skimmers. Wow, another place with solid dishes at good prices! Ingredients looked quality and fresh. You doing a community service by letting folks know where to go to eat well and not hurt the wallet 👍. (RBF, me too 😑😂)

You gotta try “Ohana Poke House” on the 2nd floor of the McCully Shopping Center. They make my favorite poke bowls a fresh sashimi. They’re in the section called Test Kitchen. Say hi to Ester 🤙🏼🙏🏼❤️

How do you find these "holes in the wall?" I never knew there was anything on the other side of that building! Agree with you on the poke bowl comment. To me, poke bowl is poke on rice. Period! But, people take it as their own and add other things.....to each his own. Poke bowls on the mainland are unrecognizable!
