Amanda & Felix...Love the sushi you ordered, all good, my favorite is the torched garlic set. I recently went to a new place called DEBU and they give you the option to torch your Inari sushi flavors in front of you. I recommend doing that. YUM! There are some sushi places that also offer sushi rice SPAM Musubi. I wish more would do that. PURVE - you ended with a nice dessert segment. Great video!
We got poke bowls from Domo Cafe today and it was so ono! Even my picky brother liked it. It's on our way home from the cemetery & we are planning to go again next week. Excellent recommendation! We told them we were there bc of you, of course😊

Ooo, Kaimuki is my hometown, so I'm very familiar with the Kahala area! I haven't been to that new square with Assagios yet, though. Def gonna check them out to try the sushi -- it looked so yummy! 😋
You need to try Cappriotti's! We had them last week and they were soooo good! After your video, we finally got to Arancino's at Kahala last night and it was even better than we expected!

All the Domo foods looked delicious! I'm partial to Hamachi and Salmon Kamas, especially when grilled. Hard to find on a restaurant menu, you are right Amanda. When I do come across it on a menu, for sure I'm getting it! Domo just got saved in my yelp for when I'm next on Oahu. Mahalo and take care you two!
Definitely try Capriotti’s sandwiches!! Pastrami is lean but tasty, but my favorite sandwich is The Bobbie! It’s a Thanksgiving meal in an Italian roll!!
OMG!!! This is where I grew up. It looks totally different. Went to Waialae, Liliuokalani and Wilson Elementary schools and graduated from Kalani. Sheesh I really have been away a long time. Jolly Roger drive inn is no longer there. Where is Domo? At Hunakai or Kilauea? Okay. Need to spend some time walking around this area as well. The last time I was in Honolulu I got as far as Kahala Mall and that place has changed. Thanks for this Amanda and Felix!!!
Friends are coming at the end of the month. Plan on going to lunch somewhere in the Kaimuki/Kahala area. I'm putting Domo Cafe on the list of places to go! Looks so good.
