When the eggs release from the pan, flip it as you did, immediately, add the cheese, fold the sides over the cheese, trapping it inside the egg. That way it will melt twice as quick !!
Bad day to have no bread at home 😢 Edit: went to get some bread 😂 I made 3, one with cheese and mushrooms, one with ham and cheese, and one with cheese and strawberry jam in this one I didn't put salt and pepper insted I added sugar and nutmeg; it was glorious and my favorite now. I also used 1 egg per sandwich since my bread is pretty small Gonna try with more veggies and fruit jam combos, banana bread or whole wheat with raisins bread tomorrow and maybe some breakfast sausage too! 💛😄
Finally a recipe that I don’t have to search for ingredients before hand. My family barely buys stuff for asian cooking. Thanks for another great recipe!!
I'm from Hong Kong and I want to encourage you and say cheap cafe culture is very popular here as well :) if you have the basics, you csn certainly make something very yummy.
Right? Out here in South Dakota, it's stupidly hard to find certain ingredients. I'm lucky I'm in our biggest city and I can just manage to find bonito flakes, kombu, and sushi nori. I have yet to see tiny anchovies, and there is only one store that might maybe have daikon radishes sometimes. Asian market? Gone. :( I'd have to trek all the way down to Omaha or buy online.
Just made this for lunch, and the jam + cheese is legit. It's like french toast without being crazy sweet, just that little hint of sugar is plenty for me. I used Tasty cheese slices and raspberry jam, with multigrain bread because that's what I had in the house, and it's yuuuuum. 10/10 will make and again
@@Kamimyla it has honestly because a frequent breakfast dish now, easy to make, delicious and only uses minimal ingredients. Sometime I which in some chilli flakes to the eggs for extra bite haha

I've been making these for the past few days and they're so good! I highly recommend cutting 1 slice of bread in half instead of using 2 full slices. It's the perfect amount to fill you up without feeling overly full.
Looks delicious. The first thing my mom made for my dad while they were dating back in Korea was an egg/cheese sandwich with jam on the bread. I grew up in the States so I had no idea it was a Korean thing.
I doubted the adding of jam too but after trying the recipe this morning, the mixture of sweetness and saltiness is indeed flavourful, scrumptious! Thank you for sharing^^
So I just made this for lunch at work and hands down I'm a believer with the Jam! I used apricot preserves black forest ham and pepper. So good and thank you for sharing
I just made this and it's really pretty! I used Swiss, colby jack, and a tablespoon of cream cheese inside. I only have the thinner American processed bread so instead of dunking the whole thing in egg I used a spatula to spread a bit of leftover egg from the bowl on it right before adding it in the pan.
I made this for breakfast today, since I didn't had Monterey jack cheese I used cream cheese and topped it with powder sugar. OMG! It was really good! Thank you for the recipe.
Us turks use jam in our breakfast aswell , cheese and jam is incredible together, as is honey and cheese... love it ... love from a turk from London to all my Korean, Chinese, vietnamese, Japanese and the whole of Asia ..peace

Excellent presentation! Great job! I watched because of the jelly in the picture. My wife loves jelly with her eggs and toast. I’m commenting more about your choice of one slice of bread cut in half. Coincidently, earlier this morning that’s how I made one of these for my wife. No jelly, I used sausage and Colby Jack. I also only used one egg! Just wanted to try. I agree that three eggs are too much. Two are still a bit much but sometimes not. The one egg approach, dunking bread before pouring it into the pan as you did, was just right for my wife. You validated a lot of my techniques in your video which was nice to see. Congratulations on your very successful channel!
I just paused this video and went and made the colby jack/strawberry jam sandwich. It was delicious!!! Have to go pick up some black forest ham. Thanks for the video!
Immediately made one for lunch after watching video. Very easy to do, I did the second version and was delicious. Will be trying this again with various cheeses and meats. Thanks for the video. Ron
Both Sandwiches were great, but I would prefer the Second Sandwich to be my favorite. You did a Great Job.....very entertaining and professional!! Texas here!
I'm going to do that with a breakfast sausage sliced down the middle to keep it thin. Love your method. I do something very similar but I pour salsa on top, with just one piece of toast below.
Just made this! was quick and relatively easy, but I'm pretty novice at cooking so I almost burned the egg since it didn't separate from the pan as easily as it did in your pan! Thank you for the instruction for this dish! ^ ^
