Secret Location Stock Clarion Amp Door & Ceiling speakers - 1995 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4X4

- I found the location of my stock Clarion amplifier in my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4X4. I knew there was something inbetween my aftermarket Alpine amplifier but I was not sure if it was a relay / amp / something elts!?!
the reason I was looking for this is my front speakers were sometimes playing music and sometimes not. Turning up the volume sometimes got the front speakers to work. Also, the Left rear tweeter does not work. When I hooked up one speaker to each of the channels to my alpine 4 channel amp it sounds great so I knew the RCAs between the deck and 4 channel amp were fine. I also knew the deck was fine too.
In the video I mentioned a 1.5 volt battery and they are rechargeable so they are 1.2 volts. Eather type of battery will work just fine to test polarity and were speaker wires go.
Also, I said my stock deck has a 5 channel EQ. I ment to say my aftermarket Pioneer deck has a 5 band EQ. :D
I am on my way to figure out what wire goes ware. Label the wires and decide if want to bypass the amp by soldering or crimping the bridge or run smaller guage number / thicker wire and shorter wire directly to the speakers from my Alpine amp. Another thought is run thicker wire directly from my Alpine to the output wire from the stock Clarion amp.

@jonathanreinke9392 my rear speakers are in n out, would these be ran through this? I'm bout ready to just hook the speakers up to an amp, however I want to solve this until I buy one
@@jonathanreinke9392 rear speakers went out, which wire do I consult in that amp to figure this one up? I'm not completely new to this, but it would save some time to get a straight awnser
Hey Kyle,
Mine was wired up with the front speakers having each tweeter and woofer having an individual channel. So 4 channels for the front. The rear only had 2 channels or one channel for the right and left with the woofers with no crossover and the tweeters having a crossover. Because of this the wire color may change from the amp to the speaker. I recommend unhooking the wire harness from the amp and testing each wire with the wire in the rear roof to make sure you have the correct polarity positive and negative. You can use a multi meter or a battery and a light bulb with some extra wire.
