Tyrion should have been fired as an advisor in Season 6 after the 'keeping slavery for 7 years fiasco'. Or he should have been executed after the Night King killed Viserion. Thank you! Thank you for this video! It shows what a lot of people deny to see - Dany truly did what she promised. She promised us since season 1 - she'll take what is hers, she'll kill her enemies. Her story is very good, yet she just did what she always promised...
Very good resume of Daenerys's evolution. And contrary to most people, I did love season 8 (watched it again last weekend as a matter of fact and loved it just as much as the first time), and I positively don't care if I am in a minority ! I think it went as it should have, even if I thought either Sansa or Jon would end up on the Iron throne, possibly even Tyrion. But that sad ending for Daenerys was inevitable, if you look at her past behavior. She was very much the autocrat, very early on. Sure of her destiny, sure of her power, sure of being right, and most of all sure of being the only "right". That is the definition of a tyrant... Cersei signed her death warrant with the senseless and spiteful beheading of Missandei. Daenerys signed hers with the senseless destruction of King's landing, but even more surely with her final speech. She was a prisoner of her destiny from the start, no matter how hopeful we were for her...
Dany is my chosen ❤🐉👑Queen👑🐉❤ She deserved better. I can only view her entire story as a tragedy now. She had a heart. She was not crazy. However, what she really always wanted, was love, and it was elusive to her. She equated great love with great power. She saw herself as a liberator because she WAS a liberator. I love Jon and the Starks as well, and I was truly hoping for "House Stargaryen" to happen. That really could have changed a lot. I knew it wouldn't, or at least I had a feeling, being that the entire season was a hot mess. Her death basically makes the entire series obsolete. Even with the triumph of The Starks, it is still hollow. Every person that died for her, lost their lives for nothing. Every person she freed, will be placed back in chains again. They did not break the wheel, they simply brought together a different set of characters, but changed nothing. Are they better people then before? Some yes, some no. I guess we will see how it all plays out in the end, because there are both prequels and sequels in the works, I highly doubt that any sort of peace will last long. Everything she set out to do, was erased. She lost everything and everyone she ever loved. Why? What was the purpose of any of it? Dany was not mad in the form of crazy, but mad in the form of anger. For very good reason. I saw someone who was deeply grieving and full of rage at the injustice of circumstance. That doesn't mean you are crazy, it means you are human. She was aware of Cersei's plan to use the people of KL as human shields. She knew that Cersei would find a way to save herself, and she would be facing her again that some point. Dany just wanted it to be over. Plus, she learned from Mehreen. She knows that leaving anyone that could be holding loyalty to the Lannisters alive, could just blow-up in her face again. This is the nature of war. Everyone in the show has done what they had to do in order to survive. The bad does not negate the good they did. ....so why did they hold the bad against Dany so quickly? She and Arya and Jon, essentially were seeking the same things and doing the same things, if you think about it. Lady Oleana was right, she was a dragon, she needed to be a dragon. Dragons cannot be tamed. There is bad and good to that though. Using that kind of power could be polarizing, but when it comes from a pure place and a pure heart, there is nothing stronger. Dany always went wrong when she listened to others instead of trusting in herself. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes, but you know in your heart what is right for you. Dany could have turned it all around. They really made some huge mistakes with this entire season. They built everything up so carefully, and then they just pissed all over it and knocked everything down without a thought to the character arcs, the storylines, the build-up of almost a decade, slapped together in a hurry to try and tie it all up. It was so rushed, nothing even made sense, nor will it.
Kris Gemini Thank you for writing this. Poor writing is the real tragedy of Daenerys as her creators made ambitious but clumsy attempts to convert her into a monster.
Kris Gemini ! Very Good, I loved it. And I've said all along she wasn't mad she was pissed, and who could blame her. Everyone that was supposed to be helping her were betraying her. Her friend was beheaded, and worst of all the man she loved let that pip squeak manipulate him into killing her. So Maybe he will go MAD with the pain and guilt he will suffer the rest of his days for killing the woman he loves, and I do believed he really loves her. It reminded me of a book I had read years ago called " A Kiss Before Dying ." Same scenario, weird.
She alveys suppose to go mad from beginning it was idea of RR Martin .Brilliant idea any not show enef good in last sezon I don't understand way people she shouldn't it was from beginning idea
Her personality can not be any more different than Emelias. She became a totally different person for this role . Amazing acting. I wish emmys didn’t just appreciate dramatic acting but the manifestation of ones imagination through acting which is what emelia demonstrated during this show.
The tragedy also is. The gentle girl she was at the start of Game of Thrones was lost along the way through rape, trauma and fighting for her life and survival. She chose to fight for the iron throne believing it belonged to her and her family and it brought greatness but was also, in the end, her downfall. Who knows if she would have ever turned on Jon and wanted to kill him, who knows if she couldn't have been talked off the ledge if she had had Jorah and Mirsandei and all her other advisers. We won't ever know, I just feel the loss of that young girl and her love for Jon immensely. Beautiful video highlighting all the good and the potential very bad she could have done.
This is incredible mate. Highly emotional and very story focused. The dialogue was perfect and you have some great colouring! :D I’m loving this game of thrones thing you’re doing, I’d love to see some more!
This is awesome. It literally forces to memory of everyone that said "there was no lead up" It's called a turning point. A Choice. The paths were always there. She had always straddled both saviour and conqueror . . . . She chose. MY heart grieved for her, Jon and everyone. But yeah . . .this was wonderful.
It is difficult to have faith in yourself when all the people that had it in you have died. Losing her child a little after losing Jorah a little after losing Jon's love... you can't blame her.
She lost EVERYTHING FOR NOTHING. I wish she would have been selfish and think only about her because what they did to her was unspeakable. Used and then throw her in the trash like she was nothing, I never was a big fan of the starks and season 8 showed me the reason. Daenerys will always be The Real Queen 👑. House Targaryen forever and thank you for your video. I love it ❣️ 😘 😍 💞
Dany should have flew right into King's Landing first, before they had a chance to build all of those scorpions, killed Cersei, and got her throne. She had time to fly in there to handle Cersei first but she got talked out of it by Tyrion bc when it came down to it, his allegiance to his family was stronger than his allegiance to Daenerys. Jon would have met her in Kings Landing instead of Dragonstone to ask for her help and let the story go from there. She may have ended up dead anyway but it probably wouldn't have been at the hand of Jon, the night king wouldn't of had her dragon, and she wouldn't have burnt kings landing.
This was beautifully edited. Well done. I'm still not over how they messed up her character arc and turned her mad in 2 episodes. Foreshadowing someone's state of mind isn't building their character arc. They did it for shock value but in the end it was underwhelming and disappointing.
A fantastic character and story, which could have ended so majestically and beautifully, but writers decided to end it tragically and in an ugly way. What a sad world we live in.
Angel Pabon Jr Where did you read that? I was hoping they would have gotten her pregnant. She dies in childbirth with Jon’s baby (after he’s dead)... Their child is the Song of Ice and Fire.
To be fair, the ending made sense. It was hinted at in season 2, then in season 6. The problem was the execution. It ended too quickly. There should've been more episodes or even another season. It just felt like D&D wanted to wrap GoT up quickly so they could move on to newer projects.
big yikes Wait, by “hinted at in Season 2” do you mean that bit where she desperately threatens Qarth so her like 12 followers wouldn’t die in the desert? That line wasn’t intended to be foreshadowing for S8, that just sounds like backtracking to justify this shaky-ass plot. It’s well known that D&D didn’t come up with this season’s storyline until like three or four years ago when GRRM told them his ending. It isn’t until the end of S5 when we get a real piece of true foreshadowing of her madness. To imply that they had this story arc in mind the whole time, is just false. S1-4 Dany was a strong, empathetic, powerful yet just female protagonist who I swear to god could have gone down as an all time legendary TV character if they stuck with that theme. Instead in S8, they turned her into a crazy emotional selfish jealous bitch who can’t handle rejection (gee I wonder why they chose the female hero to take this turn). It was just a bad writing decision. They couldve done this idea way way better if they gave themselves enough time, but they wrote themselves into a corner. Damn shame.
I really think that Bran warg in her and burn King’s Landing. She is not mad but controles by Bran the Thronsteler. I believe they should make an spin off with Arya s adventures and in same season Arya discover Dany s innocence.
NGL the people of kings landing deserved it, don’t forget when they cheered for neds execution or when they turned on the tyrells of course there was gonna be casualties at war what did people think it was bound to happen if she had dragons, people can’t complain they wanted her to sack kingslanijg and now they claim she’s mad
I love how you manipulated the dialogues. It tells its own tale. I smiled at how it ended. Daenerys Targaryen is the right choice. And there is no right in ruining a character arc like hers. She deserved better.
They used her. They. All. Used her. She made every right move, and was killed for it. And yes, maybe it was wrong to burn the kingdom. Maybe it was wrong for her to resort to bloodshed but as she said, she made every effort to AVOID IT. She saw her friend murdered right in front of her, her dragons shot out of the sky, left to die alone and scared. What else was she to do? She was a good person, yet, everything she saw, every move she made ended up messing with the fragments of her mind. Of course she wasn't in the right state of mind, after everything, no one would be. But, she was still a good person, or, tried to be, anyways. She made every effort to end the war peacefully, but, they were afraid, they were all afraid. But, like someone once said; "I can't control their fear, only my own."
The whole build up pf Jon Snow being the "true targaryen" for what?!?!? He didnt het the thrown. He didnt kill the Knight King and he didn't save the kingdom. He killed the true targaryen the one who woke dragons and defeated fire. Why the build up for Jon.
I know everyone is pissed, and it's true that it needed more episodes to go deeper and flesh everything out. But I actually liked what they did with the characters. That's who Daenerys is. A conqueror, not a ruler. An almost God like figure who believes knows what's good and is willing to do anything to make it happen. And Jon was fighting all his life in the thin line between right and wrong. He did what he was supposed to do in the end. The right thing. And it doesn't even feel right. You captured the essence of the characters and the story. That's an amazing edit. Great work.
I'm still shocked Grey Worm didn't kill Jon the very moment he found out that he killed Daenerys.
IT MAKES NO SENSE

Thank you! Thank you for this video! It shows what a lot of people deny to see - Dany truly did what she promised. She promised us since season 1 - she'll take what is hers, she'll kill her enemies. Her story is very good, yet she just did what she always promised...
JUSTICE FOR KHALEESI ! ! !
Omg so many feels at 3:00. And, your choice to take the Tyrion’s vision is really really good. J’adore !
Dany is my chosen
❤🐉👑Queen👑🐉❤
She deserved better.
There is no reason to watch this serie again , that is such shame,it was even better if it stopped after s7 and never got a real ending.
She alveys suppose to go mad from beginning it was idea of RR Martin .Brilliant idea any not show enef good in last sezon I don't understand way people she shouldn't it was from beginning idea
This gives me goosebumps. I love this character so much. She was not like her father. The writers destroyed her in s8 :(
Tyrion destroyed her future when he say "Let bring the dead to the living"
Tyrion destroyed her future with every of his dumb decisions. He was the worst hand EVER
Her personality can not be any more different than Emelias. She became a totally different person for this role . Amazing acting. I wish emmys didn’t just appreciate dramatic acting but the manifestation of ones imagination through acting which is what emelia demonstrated during this show.
Goosebumps during the whole video!
Remember to feel proud every single day for this edit! So professional!
You just got a new fan!
:D I’m loving this game of thrones thing you’re doing, I’d love to see some more!
thank you very much my friend!
PS : Jon is next
Jesse JR hell yeh!
This is awesome. It literally forces to memory of everyone that said "there was no lead up"
It's called a turning point. A Choice. The paths were always there. She had always straddled both saviour and conqueror . . . . She chose.
MY heart grieved for her, Jon and everyone. But yeah . . .this was wonderful.
even though the show is over, she was, is , and will always be my queen.
Forever Our Khaleesi. 👑👑👑😍😍😍
I don't say this to anyone but from the moment this started I fell in love with this edit. You did an amazing job
SHE WILL ALLWAYS BE THE QUEEN IN CHOOSE SHE DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER. KHALESY FOR EVER
More character development in 6 minutes than D&D in 6 episodes
I always loved Daenerys. Beautiful tribute.
Goosebumps and wet eyes...not sure if I’m crying for her downfall or that of the show
She was always the only queen on the seven kingdoms
Excellent editing. Made the losses more poignant and made me feel better about the ending. I’m still not happy but I’m less bitter.
She will always be my Queen! ♥️
It is difficult to have faith in yourself when all the people that had it in you have died. Losing her child a little after losing Jorah a little after losing Jon's love... you can't blame her.
I missed her so much 😭
she’s the reason i watch GOT ❤️ 🐉
Thank you Jesse JR... a wonderful tribute to a great character!
I love it ❣️ 😘 😍 💞
This tribute is so good! Doing my cooldown workout and stumbled on it, we’ll done!
Beautiful tribute for an amazing character, #Daenerys will live in my heart, she will be my queen forever!!🐲🔥
All hail one of the greatest character’s in the history of television. You’re the queen we all chose, Daenerys!
She may have ended up dead anyway but it probably wouldn't have been at the hand of Jon, the night king wouldn't of had her dragon, and she wouldn't have burnt kings landing.
agreed
This was beautifully edited. Well done. I'm still not over how they messed up her character arc and turned her mad in 2 episodes. Foreshadowing someone's state of mind isn't building their character arc. They did it for shock value but in the end it was underwhelming and disappointing.
Beautiful art perhaps the best short vignette so far
A fantastic character and story, which could have ended so majestically and beautifully, but writers decided to end it tragically and in an ugly way. What a sad world we live in.
I love this video. Awesome job. It was emotional to watch. They didn't have to kill my girl like that. I hate that they call her the Mad Queen now.
one of the best edits i‘ve seen so far
I'm sorry but U can't change a character arc in 1 EP! They did my Dragon Queen wrong! She was supposed 2 get pregnant and they threw that out!
It just felt like D&D wanted to wrap GoT up quickly so they could move on to newer projects.
haha it's not a Disney movie c'mon don't get so much obsessed!
big yikes Wait, by “hinted at in Season 2” do you mean that bit where she desperately threatens Qarth so her like 12 followers wouldn’t die in the desert?
Damn shame.
big yikes *cough* the big fat paycheck from the House of the Mouse *cough*
Game of Thrones was a phenomenal show until it threw character development out of the window and butchered everyone's character arcs
so, what is the point of the series - the victory of mediocre? (like Sansa?)
Meu Deus!!!!
Que vídeo perfeito, que imagem fodástica, show!!!!
Meus parabéns!!!
Magnificent video/meditation. Thank you.
I really think that Bran warg in her and burn King’s Landing. She is not mad but controles by Bran the Thronsteler.
I believe they should make an spin off with Arya s adventures and in same season Arya discover Dany s innocence.
Lysander T. Thanks!
She's my Queen.
From this day until my last.
Absolutely true they deserved to burn
I love how you manipulated the dialogues. It tells its own tale. I smiled at how it ended. Daenerys Targaryen is the right choice. And there is no right in ruining a character arc like hers. She deserved better.
AMAZING editing😍
the parallel between wake the dragon and burn them all gave me *GOOSEBUMPS*
She should have attacked The Red Keep at night. The night would have given Drogon some cover.
Unpopular Opinion: I actually like her going full Mad Queen and becoming the villain. They just didn’t worked the idea properly.
LOVE your edit ❤️😍❤️ She was my Queen till the end 💔🔥🔥🔥 Dracarys 🐉🐉
They used her. They. All. Used her. She made every right move, and was killed for it. And yes, maybe it was wrong to burn the kingdom. Maybe it was wrong for her to resort to bloodshed but as she said, she made every effort to AVOID IT. She saw her friend murdered right in front of her, her dragons shot out of the sky, left to die alone and scared.
What else was she to do? She was a good person, yet, everything she saw, every move she made ended up messing with the fragments of her mind. Of course she wasn't in the right state of mind, after everything, no one would be. But, she was still a good person, or, tried to be, anyways. She made every effort to end the war peacefully, but, they were afraid, they were all afraid. But, like someone once said;
"I can't control their fear, only my own."
The whole build up pf Jon Snow being the "true targaryen" for what?!?!? He didnt het the thrown. He didnt kill the Knight King and he didn't save the kingdom. He killed the true targaryen the one who woke dragons and defeated fire. Why the build up for Jon.
They did her so dirty !!
Она как была моей королевой - так и останется навсегда.. Пока я не сдохну!!! Да здравствует Дейенерис! Да здравствует Кхалиси!
No mercy, Dracaris all enemy’s, it’s the RIGHT CHOICE
Crazy and sad way of thinking .funking sad you people
She was written to make the wrong choice. Blame the writers. Still pissed.
This really illustrates how insane and awful the writing was.
Writing not good but she alleys suppose to go mad this was RR Martin idea.Briĺiant idea my opinion.
This makes me cry every time I watch it. Thanks
I dare say this is the BEST Dany video and I’ve seen all of them.
My queen, forever and ever
She should have followed her original instincts to not trust them.
Makes me sick to even lay eyes on Jon Snow, after what he did to the Khaleesi.
You have a great talent, I love the way you put this together. Perfect!!!
Great work.
She was pushed passed her limits!!! She fucking snapped, with good reason
Daenerys was always the right choice to be Queen of the seven kingdoms. #MyQueen #MyKhaleesi #Dracarys ❤🔥🔥🔥❤
Amazing video 🤩 Great job !!
Still my favourite character 💓🐉🐲
Same at the end of Twillight, she will awake from this nightmare on the beginning of the 9th season
