I was doing this before i even came across this video. It's safe to say that i have somewhat improved. I am also currently studying from usaco guide. Thank you for your video 😊
If you are comfortable in solving A,B in contests, no need to solve A,B just solve C. else you solve all B first then move to more difficult questions.
It depends on the programmer. But ideally 2 months for pupil 2 months for specialist and 4-6 months for expert but it changes as I took almost 10 months to reach expert from specialist.
so basically what he is trying to say is suppose i am struggling in A or B or C problem in a contest so i select all the past contest and solve all the A/B/C problems of those contest and learn from them , please correct me if i miss something
I know basic topics and have idea about dsa(don't have that much practice on dsa). I am currently doing div4(can solve 4 problems) and div3(can solve 2 problems). I am still newbie. Can i follow this method on div 2 a,b,c and start doing div 2? Your answer will help me a lot.
Bruh I am in same situation but after using these technique (using this technique for a month) it helped me to gain some confidence now I can solve 1000 rating problem without any problem and although I can't solve 100% of 1100-1500 rating problems but I somehow get 70% of idea of how the solution may work and after seeing the editorial it become understandable so I suggest u may use this technique to gain more confidence div-4 may not help that much at this time.Try solving A-B question of div 2.
newbie to CP, can someone please explain what are difficulty levels here? im always finding myself looking for Div3/4, so is it that Div1 is hardest? or div4 is hardest?

In few words. Author used bfs algorithm for learning when intuitive solution was just dfs through every contest.
Woah
It will be great, if you provide the resources for various topics
good advice
Inspiring 👏
That's actually a very good technique
Congrats buddy! Keep going
Great 👍🏼
Wow, cool stuff! I didn't know that feature existed. Thanks
Thanks a lot for the advice!
very inspiring
How much time you gave for each problem before moving on to see hints/solution?
Otherwise just solve the A2OJ Ladder problems as practice. It's better that way
As long as you practice difficult questions, there is no issue.
Can you give the link to A2OJ ladder, I couldn't find it.
Thanks Brother. I will try this.
What would you suggest, solving A-B-C of past contests or only C?
If you are comfortable in solving A,B in contests, no need to solve A,B just solve C. else you solve all B first then move to more difficult questions.
i am wondering that i need what math grade to solve problem on codeforce
High school level
thank you brother . i get it now 😀
We need to solve dsa questions before it
How to tackle Combinatorics heavy questions, any resources which summarizes combinatorics in a brief manner for CP?
Usaco guide gold module
Thankyou very much
This is great trick.. but u forgot to mention how long should one give time to solve it and then when to lookup for editorials
the sound is so low
How do you learn?
I can't understand any editorials, I watch the video solution when I can't solve a problem.
Is it okay?
Editorials are really dumb these days, they really expect us to understand the jiggersh they spill in the name of hint
how many problems needed to solve in every contest to be specalist?
How much hours you have put at each level how much time it took to cross each ratings
It depends on the programmer. But ideally 2 months for pupil 2 months for specialist and 4-6 months for expert but it changes as I took almost 10 months to reach expert from specialist.
@@aniketmore8789 How much hrs should I practice daily to become pupil
@@aniketmore8789 Okay thanks

DId you start coding in college or you knew it before?
I started at the end of first year.

Absolutely correct.
How to build logic properly ?
project euler, or "the art and craft of problem solving" is VERY good book its free also.
Has everything you will need from newbie to expert+
can i apply same technique for A and B. i m going to apply same
Yes you can

You may start with Codechef or AtCoder if you are a beginner.

Div1 is hardest

@@aniketmore8789 I'm ready with 2, 3 projects so I've decided to completely improve on cp. I'm in 3rd year too. 💯
Nowadays doing 3 does not get you past newbie due to ofc …. 😒
can you explain this briefly ?
@@Stevencoder-b1w i mean in div 2 nowadays more than 5k sometimes 10k people solve B, which means smethinglike 5k solve C, some are unethical
thanks
hi can i ask, do you have background in competitive math? if not, what kinda math do u know
I knew basic combinatorics and number theory.
For cp, you just need basic knowledge of these topics, So you can learn them in short time.
Thank you 🤩
