I love the way brother Paul ALWAYS points back to God. His sermons are always minimizing man and always exalting Christ. This is what this culture needs.

@@eekay5710 this is kind of unbiblical, that’s basically denying our own existence. John the Baptist is indeed correct in 3:30 when he said “less of me, more of Him”. We still exist, as His children and must seek to have more of Him and live like Him as we exist - for His glory.

John lived under the OT, just like Jesus. The cross has made everything new and fresh. Everything means nothing excluded. The NT starts with Acts 2, the outporing of the Holy Spirit.

I've been seeing this video on my youtube homepage for quite some time and I always avoided it and right now I said let me just watch it. I know Paul Washer and his sermons and how they speak to the heart and think we all gotta surrender to God in our joy and sadness because whatever is going on He is still God whether we believe it or not.
I never realize this. My sins are so evil that I should cast in the lake of fire for committing of one sin like the devil. Only by Grace of God am I still alive and loved
I love the example of Joseph and Jesus how Joseph didn't share his coat but Jesus shared His coat of righteousness with us.

Due to the cross-events of Jesus the Christ, we now are perfect in His sight. Yes, we do wrong, but the point is, the Father sees us thru the blood of the Son & His blood-offering declared us holy & worthy. REPENT means to change the way you think about God and us, to agree with the word of God.
1John 4:17 "As He is, so are we in this world".

Not a big Paul Washer fan ....but love the "perfect justice" and the call to the cross. I do love this description of us and the grace offered at the cross.
Tim, when 90% of the population winds up in a burning torture chamber for all eternity the cross becomes of no effect. Stick with the book; Col.1:20,21; 1 Tim 4:10; Phil.2:10,11, not Washer and his limited atonement.

If we do as Mr. Washer teaches, our righteousness be like that of the Pharisees who subdued their flesh in strict obedience to the Father’s Instructions. But Christ tells us that our righteousness must exceed that of the Pharisees (Matthew 5:20). In other words, they did right out of their fear of death, because the Law kills by showing us our wretchedness (2 Corinthians 3:6). But those who accept Christ and die to their selfish nature are set free from their slavery to their fear of death (Hebrew 2:15) so they can worship in a new way, through the Spirit (Romans 7:6). Those who follow the Spirit sift the Father’s Instructions through a heart of love so that their wretchedness leads them to see their need for a Savior and lead them to Christ where He’s able to fulfill the Law in our heart, allowing the Spirit to bring life to the Instructions by giving us a true desire to honor it. It’s in this way our righteousness is able to exceed that of the Pharisees.
Since the Father does not change we can be assured that everyone who has ever been saved has been saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8). When we apply this to Noah for example, we learn that the Father’s grace are His Instructions which were given to Noah warning him of the impending destruction of the world and how to escape it. This is the same gospel that was proclaimed to us, but the message the people heard was of no value to them because they didn’t share in the faith of Noah (Hebrews 4:2). Noah believed the Father and his faith was able to overcome what he believed in order to place his faith and trust in the Father’s Instructions by doing everything just as He was commanded (Genesis 6:22). Noah didn't add to, or take away from, anything the Father Commanded him and as a result he and his family were saved. If Noah didn't have faith he and his family would have perished with the rest of the people.

Ezekiel 18 : … no one can die to pay another sin…. Not even Jesus. Yes he died for our sins but it is more complex and nuanced.
