The FCO has become (for the past 6-7 years) outstanding, one of the few to receive the 5 stars (and I've seen the works continuing); if 20 years ago someone told me that it would become one of the best airports in the world, I would have thought was crazy.
Sorry, I (almost) forgot: I hope you and your lovely family had a happy time in Italy.
I think the fire that partially destroyed T3 back in 2015 was the overall turning point for the Airport

If i would be the AF manager for the fleet and it's destinations i would change the A 320 between Paris and other major European cities like Madrid, London, Rome & Berlin to an A 330-200 or a 787-9. The A 320 is much to small.
