Great card! Love the color combos! When I chose to buy a product I’ve seen any of the UA-cam videos I watch, everyone has affiliate links. So, let’s say I want to buy this set, why not give you credit. Especially since your display of these stamps are why I brought it in the first place. As far as story time; we all go through various cycles in our life that become what we talk about. If you are home with small children, you talk about them. Eric, I bet, being the proud dad, shares stories and shows pictures with the people he works with. So, we are your people that you are sharing with. Many of us have shared snippets of our life with you. It goes both ways. My daughter is remarried, did not plan anymore children. Well at the age of 40, she had her second. It’s her husband’s first. I KNOW he shares stores about his daughter with the people he works with. Guys just want you to think that it’s just a girl thing to talk about kids and normal day to day…not.

I have to say “YAY, BACK TO A TRADITIONAL KELLY VIDEO” lol. I enjoy all your videos but originally I started watching your channel because of your style and clear instructions (I don’t like videos without voice over explanations). Then I was hooked on story time, especially because I discovered you just before the bushfires took off in 2019, the first summer I was pretty much in iso because the smoke outside literally could have killed me. Even inside was a struggle to breathe until we bought an air filter. Then, of course, the fires were promptly followed by covid and lockdowns. I was in the process of trying to make friends and build networks here after a life-changing event and was hampered so I’ve found your videos to be a good substitute, like having coffee with a friend. I enjoy learning all the things but I do particularly enjoy your copic colouring cards, your scene cards and your cards where you use rainbow colours, whether that’s an actual rainbow or like that “rows of muffins” card you made using honeybee muffins a few years ago, with each muffin colour making a combined rainbow. I hope you all get better soon. I’m so glad my kids grew up before covid, I have no idea how I’d cope! All the best!
PS also your voice. When I first started watching youtube videos I flicked off some crafters if I found their voice difficult. I’m more tolerant now but there are some crafters whose videos I only watch if I want the actual instruction; if I can figure out how to do the card without that, I’ll just admire the finished product and move on.

Stunning card! Kelly, my heart goes out to you. I had the original Omicron variant in January and was sick a month. I literally thought I was going to die and wrote a letter to my 2-year old daughter. 😢 But God... 🙌🏻❤️ My husband, parents, daughter, and sister all had it at once... we're all still here by God's mercies, even though my smeller still isn't right. Right now, the Omicron BA2 or other variants of that is dominant. While it's more transmissible, it's not supposed to be as severe as the original. I guess if you had to get it, this would be "better"... still rough though. I have such empathy on anybody who gets it... it's not easy. Praying for you and your family. 🙏🏻
@@melissasullivan1658 That's so awful. I am so sorry for that, dear. I lost my taste for about 2 months. There are still a few foods that don't taste right, though. I am able to finally smell again but certain things smell very strange. I don't even like my perfume anymore. Praying your Dad can recover his senses back.

Very beautiful card, from the background to the flower. I don’t think you mention affiliate links too much, but you rarely ever mentioned them before and now you do so it is noticeable. I do appreciate knowing how to support our favorite UA-cam creators. I don’t have my notifications on for all the channels I subscribe to but I definitely do for your channel. So sorry to hear that Covid finally caught up with you. Everyone in my family except me has gotten Covid, my oldest sister has a couple of times. I haven’t weaned myself away from wearing a mask yet in the stores. I think I would feel slightly naked. I’m glad you aren’t super sick because you are the mom so you need to be super woman. Lol
I never stopped wearing masks in public stores, and still haven’t gotten it/gotten others sick. I would legit feel weird going grocery shopping with my face uncovered. 👀
Oh, man. I am sorry the COVID caught you. The card is lovely. Emily’s designs are all beautiful. I was worried when you added that V09 - it’s SO dark! But, it’s amazing how it doesn’t look dark at all in the finished card. I never feel like you just want to us to buy stuff or push the affiliate links. I appreciate hearing about the sales, but you do it in an informative way . On the contrary - your cheap chicken is my role model. I am right there with you.
The picture that you posted of Katelyn is gorgeous, she looks like crawling won’t be too long! I agree with the thought that Eric thinks the stories are boring, it’s because he was there. Try to make lists of the stories, he will love them when the kids are older! Try pieces of plain still frozen waffles (Eggo or homemade), she’ll enjoy the cool on her gums yet they melt a bit but don’t get as sticky as the teething biscuits, more economical too! My husband’s favorite was when I put chunks of firm banana or baked sweet potato if she’s not started fruits yet/ potato, yes it gets messy but it’s so good for them for coordination

Peetty card Kelly, hope all of you feel better soon. What you said about little boys not always washing their hands reminds me of working at a preschool and the boys would try to get past me without completely washing their hands after using the bathroom after getting up from nap. I would turn on my swee[ teacher vouce and when they would tell me they did wash their hands ( they'd turn on the water enough for a small stream to come out), I'd tell them to humor teach Danielle and go back and wash their hands. Oh did I mention I would be in the restroom watching everything(regs set vy the state)

So sorry to hear you got covid. As far as the videos go I love your stories. I don't find them boring at all! I watch your videos while I craft in my studio. It feels like crafting with a good friend. Expecially when the pandemic hit and we shut down for the most part. We didn't see friends or family very often. My UA-cam videos helped me. I would just watch while I crafted. I did notice though some of my subscriptions don't show up in my feed. I have to click on each person's or groups icon to see them. I wonder if it's because I don't watch daily? I like to check and see if there are a few to watch in a row and it's kinda like crafting together. If that makes sense. I loved the photo you shared of Kaitlyn. (Sorry if I spelled her name wrong. I have a Kaitlyn also and that's how we spell hers.) Feel better soon! Sending healing thoughts and hugs your way!

My dad got it summer of 2020 and he still can’t smell everything (he said he tastes about 5% of what he eats 😕).

Thank you for the video. Just getting started with coloring with markers so I am learning a lot from watching you. As a fussy cutter I will absolutely try adding the background color to those white areas within the stamped image.
