I havent been crocheting that long but I understand her directions...they're written and she is showing how its done... I get it, so thank you...and yes it would be great to show you assemble it...I'm doing that now, just figuring it on my own, so far so good! Good luck yall!

This is very thoroughly detailed. As for the pattern, thank you so much for the free offer. No one should complain that they do not understand when you have clearly given us a free pattern.
Marifu6a, thank you for your wonderful idea of a 3D, with easy instructions and easy assembling, can hardly wait to finish it. I love thank you for your cleverly project. Please don’t pay attention to the negative comments they don’t realize the hard work and the time to create this piece of Art. Looking forward to your new projects. 💞
This is the most awesome instructional video I’ve ever seen. Demonstration without a lot of talking and instructions in both Spanish and English. Thanks so much for posting this.
Love this pattern. But yes I agree to talk out the tutorial instead of written directions .. It helps those more when starting this new and simple pattern .. Also putting the pieces together after the fact would be helpful, just finishing off my first afgan I am making thrn will try this one. Ty for sharing
Thx. I was trying to make on my own but guess I couldn't figure it out. You are easy to follow too. My grandson will be happy, he asked me if I could make him a blanket that looks 3D. Thank you.
I didn't have a problem with this video, I found it easy to follow - it's designed for the more experienced crocheteer rather than a beginner and one who can read patterns. However I do agree with the music, it's distracting so I turned the volume off. For what I needed it's perfect- thank you. And to all the nasty posters, if this video doesn't suit you, simply find another video instead of writing those nasty comments. It's so beneath a crafter whose aim is to help each other!
good job for the first part of the block, then there is the second and the third part made the same way This is not for the beginners. The other two parts are in different shades, when made and puttogether will complete the block
I love this video, it not only teaches me the pattern, but it also teaches me to read the crochet in a different language, which to me is a plus, just in cas I see another pattern that isnt a video and need to understand it?? Like var is double ctochet, and uyimo is last, and primer is first and lasso is loop, etc... you get what Id m saying, so knock something, and look for negative things, look to see the positive part in everything and you ll be a lot happier person, and smarter to !!!!
I just figured it out! there are 10 rows of dc. The increase is on every row at each end. there should be a total of 20 dc. Then the decrease begins on row 11 with the same format. decrease at every row at the end of the two stitches. The finished product is how it is stitch together to give the illusion of a 3D. Gees it took me a week to figure it out.
When you do the decreases, are you left with an extra loop at the ends of rows 14-20. I am fine with the decreases in rows 11-13, but then when I get to row 14 and I have to do a decrease in the last two loops, I will have 3 loops left rather than the 2 needed for the decrease. This happens through the remaining rows. I can't figure out where I am going wrong. I've counted all of my stitches, and those are correct, but I am still left with an extra loop.
Thanks for making the video. I'd like to give a bit of advise for your next video. I think you should slow down just a bit so people can see what you're doing and maybe a better position for the holding hand or the camera as it blocks what you're doing sometimes. The music is kind of creepy but it's not a huge issue. I appricate videos like yours to help me learn how to crochet. I am excited to try this project.
Marinella so after so many tries this is what I came up with and I got the diamond: From rows 13-19 Ch 3 then decrease the next 3 loops then DC to the end. Meaning after you chain 3 decrease 3 loops in the beginning only on each row. till you make diamond.
+Danita's D'Zine es esactamente lo que yo pienso, a mi me fastidia mucha platica tonta,y asi como esta este tutorial me parese perfecto, saludos danita,
Okay. So, basically, you make diamond shapes in each of the three colors and then sew them together. Is that right? Why couldn't they be made in squares? It would be nice if you explained how many make up an afghan. Also, I checked your blog and cannot find anything about this pattern.
je suis en train de faire la même chose en blanc rose et bleu et pour le moment j'ai crocheté 24 bleus, 18 roses et 10 blancs. je compte en faire une couverture pour noël
Thank you so much for the link. I have been looking all morning for a free pattern. I agree with you also on the ones that try to sell a copy righted pattern. Again thank you.
I found this pattern for free at www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/vasarely-blanket. with clear written instructions and graph. It can be downloaded on a pdf. Go for it ladies.
Rosaliz Solano creo que se debe tener respeto para dirigirse a esta persona si no le gusto no insulte, soy una persona que poco se de estos tejidos y lo comprendí muy bien
Do you do four squares or three to make the 3d effect in the pattern? I get stuck alot because I trying to figure out how the effect suppose to be like with the squares.
I was confused by the red heart pattern. Tried to find a video and found this worthless video. The point in a video is to hear someone explain it while doing it. Not hear music that has nothing to do with the video.
Same with the rest here - this person wants you to buy her pattern. What you’re viewing is a partial pattern to lure you into buying the rest of the directions. Go to other more expert UA-cam crochet instructions to make diamond shape pieces and you can create your own 3D blanket
I have been trying to get the written instructions from your web site and I keep getting a run around. The links you send do not download. They contain no information. How do I get the pattern?
I went to their page and I didn't see this pattern-only ones for sale-this is simply the diamond pattern, with the pieces turned differently to create a tumbling block affect-and placing the colors as shown-light on top dark on sides
After so much search I finally find a decent pattern, only to be disappointed with its written instruction. Video is so mot matching to what is written on instruction. Video needs improving.
Thanks Cotton Candy. I guess you got it just like I did. :-) I was just hoping there was an easier way, other than making all the diamonds and sewing them together!!
She provided written instructions on the screen. When she skipped from row 4 to row 11. you are just supposed to do the same thing as the previous row, just adding a dc in the middle. Then when she gets to row 12, she starts decreasing one st in the last st in each row... True, she could have added that to the instructions, but I figured it out ok. Now you just have to count how many white, how many of color #2 and color #3, and sew them together! VOILA!!!!! Plus, you can download the instructions per one of the links she posted above. STRIKE THAT, she is SELLING her pattern on the links above. I made one of these blankets for my grandson, even put his name in three (one letter in each) of the squares for his 1st birthday! I made it in Bright yellow, light blue and dark blue. Would love to share with you...
bonsoir a vous , vous pouvez pas écrire en français , j adore mes je comprends pas , si oui je vous remercie sinon tant pis , je comprends si c est pas possible bonne soirée Monique
If you are not able to follow the instructions, you can create a graph from watching the video. see my previous note below. also, the link someone provided for red heart is not the same pattern. I find the multicolor on red heart pattern a bit too busy on the eye.

TML Do you ch3 and then skip the 1st st, and go into the 2nd st for your 1st dc? Watch how she does it...
beautiful job, I simply love it!!!!!!!!!
Thanks this video was helpful!

Thank you so much. Perfect! Now i know what to do and it is so easy! Thank you for this video
Beautiful, when you please put the second part ?
How do you finish? Do I do all the diamonds the same? And how to put them together? Is there a second part to this tutorial? Thanks
Did you get an answer on this? I am wondering the same thing
this is the most incomplete pattern tutorial I have seen. Why bother posting it if you are not going to show at least how it comes together?
This pattern is out there for free. i refuse to pay for something that isn't an original design.
Muy enteresante

Thanx for the video
this video obviously isn't for the beginner so if you're a beginner this video is not for you. Lighten up ppl cause not everyone is a beginner!

what the H**L no voice, written instruction are very bad, she's not saying what she is doing.... I give this video a handful of thumbs down....
Perhaps she is mute. Perhaps she has a lisp. Please do not think everyone has a pleasant voice.
