Hi Shane, thanks for uploading these videos, very helpful. Just have a couple of questions, What was extent of damage to your labrum? and how much bone was shaved off? also did you have much damage to cartilage inside joint.I recently had surgery for FAI and I've been told to stay on crutches for 4 to 6 weeks due to the amount of bone resection done. You seem to be moving through your rehab very fast, ie jogging after week 7. I was told jogging for all FAI surgery would be at least 12 weeks???
@alojosh2011 First of, you should always go with the instructions of the people dealing with your care. A couple of extra weeks won't hold you back so long as you keep the levels of fitness, balance, strength and flexibility up until the restrictions are lifted. We usually say to our patients to leave light jogging for 8+ weeks. I am progressing more or less along the rehab programme but am teasing it out in relation to how it feels.
Secondly. We'll have the surgery videos up fairly soon I hope.
