I love seeing someone try a hair product where it doesn't end of perfect, this is a good thing. This is so real, my first attempt at using a flat iron to try and curl my hair was a disaster

It's something to look forward to do at this time, as the days can be the same from the next. My highlight today was seeing Bella's head bob about while sitting on your couch watching you hoover. Quite lucky that you guys have that patch of garden to be able to go out & get fresh air. Now more than ever I appreciate the luxury of being able to enjoy the outdoors without restrictions. We don't have a garden but our balcony looks over a patch of trees, which borders our flat from next door neighbor. I do get you mean about your pjs, for me I have chosen to invest on proper beddings.

Grt having daily vlogs Emma, helps us all stay sane together😂😂!! Regarding your waver, iv naturally curly hair, but tong random bits that tend to go astray... i ALWAYS ALWAYS use a styling mousse/ spray/gel etc that gives "hold"... putting a tong on freshly washed hair would make my hair fluff up within hrs & the curl will drop, so thats my advice & then i spritz it with Loreal ultra hold gel spray, or a firm hold hairspray if u prefer. But the main thing is to apply a product that will grip onto the curl if you want it to look more defined & stay put! x
I think that this isolation has actually changed the focus and direction of your channel...and I believe it is all for the good....less focus on just buying new stuff for the sake of buying new stuff.....and instead lifestyle.....living life to its best.....how to be happy with what you have.....etc.....I really like it.....refreshing....so much better than UA-camrs that are trying to hold on to the past ....and continue to flog merchandise.....hopefully people come out of this valuing relationships and being grateful for all we have🤔😌

‘Living the isolation dream” is hilarious! It really does help to get outside and get some fresh air and sunshine, if you are fortunate enough to have access to some outdoor space. I have found it really boosts my spirits. I’m so glad spring is here. Btw I like your wavy hair.
Your new iron is called a triple barrel iron or deep waver in America and they are so much fun!! I just got one for Christmas and I’ve been getting my use out of it. It’s like a fun twist on curling your hair but more interesting for the eye. I’ve gotten so many questions on what I do to my hair when I use a triple barrel iron. Enjoy!
The hair waver,,,,,,,,,not with that tool specifically,,,but the excitement to try something new,,,the attempt,,,and the mixed feelings on the results or rather in my case on a few occasions, not mixed at all, but horrified. Been there, Emma! plus, I get so nervous about permanent damage when applying heat with stylers that’s I’m almost jumping out of my skin as I style as quickly as possible. If you slide it you undo the wave that you just created by producing a wave in the opposite direction. Dont know if I make sense. Try not sliding. Just open, close, hold, open, repeat without sliding.

totally get the PJ thing emma! I bought new Jammies for Lockdown here in Oz.... Im a Nurse so still working so it feels so nice to get home, put my uniform straight in the wash, scrub away the day in the shower and put a nice new pair of jimjams on to join my family in isolation! Bliss!

first thing.... we're devastated because we can't get Disney+ till 2nd of April as we live in the Channel Islands, and with having a 5 yr old who is also desperate to see what's on, and the fact we are having to stay in and work from home, this is a big issue for us! (obviously not in the grand scheme of things, but would be a bit of light relief!). and secondly, having nice sleepwear is lovely, again because of being in comfies all day at the moment the change into sleepwear, really helps with putting an end to a working day... it's the little things that are helping us get through this uncertain time. grateful to be well and safe of course. xx
this video is so funny. the hair tool! the numbers are counting up by degrees to tell you when its heated up to the temperature you set it at. And you're holding the tool the wrong way up, which is why you get that ridge line up top. I don't have one, but I've seen other YTers use it. Love you guys!

In isolation I work from home (nót complaining, thank God I have work), and I get dressed - obvs in loungewear - but I also put on a fragrance, so I feel and smell nice. And on my little (solo) walkies I get fresh flowers and enjoy nature. You're só right! It makes one appreciate the little things! 😘
i recommend using a heat protection spray before using the iron to prevent hair damage. i'm really enjoying the isolation diaries emma. you guys stay safe there. 💕

I think the waver tool effect was quite nice, after sleeping in it I imagine it would look good too. Simon we all know you’re excited about Disney + 😉. It’s good to have a garden to enjoy and look after, especially just now, I think it’s therapeutic and relaxing 🌱. I thought you had a hot tub but it was the furniture 😂 I’m with you on the luxe sleepwear, and just doing something nice for yourself. Self care is especially important just now 🙏🏻

Sorry to keep posting but I found my Disneyland entry ticket the other week, I use it as a bookmark in my beloved “Bartender’s Book of Cocktails” 😜 Anyway, the entry cost in 1992 was US$27.50 for a “One Day Passport”. I was wondering how much a day pass costs these days.
What an amazing thing to find. I have no idea how much they are at the moment - but its got to be at least $100 for a day I would say. Hold on, let me check BRB. Yes anything from $100 for a day pass (but they vary by day so maybe less maybe more. Thats for California anyway which we are hoping to be visiting later this year once everything sorts itself out ❤️

Looks like you have just a double, not queen or king size bed. When we were first married that’s what we had and of course enjoyed the closeness. Then over the years our beds kept getting bigger and bigger. Now as we are growing old together ( married 59 years) we are choosing a smaller bed. Closeness is more important. Big king size beds may be the “cool” decor but remember the time when we couldn’t get enough of being close to each other? I remember a story from the days when cars only had bench seats and us girls scooted over close to our boyfriends. After a few months of marriage the wife was lamenting to her husband that they didn’t sit close to each other any more and he said to her “I haven’t moved”. Stay close young marrieds. Donna Lewis

Sorry to keep posting but I found my Disneyland entry ticket the other week, I use it as a bookmark in my beloved “Bartender’s Book of Cocktails” 😜 Anyway, the entry cost in 1992 was US$27.50 for a “One Day Passport”. I was wondering how much a day pass costs these days.
What an amazing thing to find. I have no idea how much they are at the moment - but its got to be at least $100 for a day I would say. Hold on, let me check BRB. Yes anything from $100 for a day pass (but they vary by day so maybe less maybe more. Thats for California anyway which we are hoping to be visiting later this year once everything sorts itself out ❤️

Looks like you have just a double, not queen or king size bed. When we were first married that’s what we had and of course enjoyed the closeness. Then over the years our beds kept getting bigger and bigger. Now as we are growing old together ( married 59 years) we are choosing a smaller bed. Closeness is more important. Big king size beds may be the “cool” decor but remember the time when we couldn’t get enough of being close to each other? I remember a story from the days when cars only had bench seats and us girls scooted over close to our boyfriends. After a few months of marriage the wife was lamenting to her husband that they didn’t sit close to each other any more and he said to her “I haven’t moved”. Stay close young marrieds. Donna Lewis

Sorry we are getting confused. The ones I have on are polyester 👍 But when I am speaking about them I refer to others they have that are silk - I thought you meant there aren't any silk ones - so if you didn't want those ones there are silk ones too, hopefully available everywhere 👍
