You don't have to choose between function and looking good. I guess for womenswear it is harder, but most of it you can probably wear aswell. Carl Murawski is a great channel here on UA-cam, he is a practicing electrician and does videos on workwear/boots.

I recently discovered silk button downs and they are a game changer. Simple things can really make you look put together, like styled hair, simple jewellery, nice perfume, or having well kept nails. They can make you feel feminine and pretty(if that’s what you’re going for) or just in general tidy.
Not everyone lives in a cold climate..it was literally in the 90s yesterday where I live which isn’t even the hottest it gets here. She lives in south cali she’ll be fine
