I re-purposed one of those cute little yogurt containers a while back using craft paint on the outside and doing dot painting designs in bright pretty colors. Then I put some soil and plants in them and placed them on the kitchen window sill. Made my place nice and cheery.
Dogs will eat grass when they have an upset tummy to force themselves to throw up. It's their own doggo pepto-bismol treatment for tummy trouble. Dogs also do this weird thing where they almost sound like their choking and their whole body stiffens as their almost look like they're seize/choking... almost like nasal choking sound. Not sure if they get a hair caught in their throat or what. It eventually passes. Nothing to be alarmed about. I think maybe it's like equivalent to a cat getting a hairball... FYI: They have special dog feeding dishes that are specially shaped to make dogs eat slower. Maybe consult a vet or dog trainer? Incontinence is common in older dogs. Her going potty in her kennel is a concern as their kennel is their "den." They don't usually go potty where they sleep. If a dog is going potty in their kennel, it usually means they haven't been taken out to relieve themselves recently. Maybe put her on a timed potty break... ie every 1-2 hours. Dogs also can get dementia. Also, her going potty in her kennel might be a symptom of a UTI?
Lovely work again today. Regarding the dog.... I think this could be a big dog problem, I have a large dog who we elevate her dinner bowl because she chokes when stooping down. the neck being so low closes the space when swallowing. Maybe simply lifting up her dog bowl might help.
I am working the weekends, I wish that I could join you live. I have once and I loved it. You may consider the times that you feed her. Diabetes can cause extreme hunger. You may want to get some labs? Also there is a condition called PICA where people or animals eat things like chalk, or dirt or sand and often it is a sympto m of a lack of some kind of mineral in the body.
My boyfriend and I cook for our dog. I don’t think humans should be the only wants to eat non-processed food I think it’s torture to give a dog or cat cat food or dog food all their life it’s like torture

Your dog is just getting old. She will continue to loose impulse control. It is time to let her go with dignity.
