Check out Storyblocks 🔥👉🏻storyblocks.com/JorisHermans Oh, and there's one other font I've used to make this video. It's called VCR OSD Mono. And keep in mind, guys, this is just my creative interpretation of an 80s VHS look... having fun and learning, that's what it's all about! 😎🙏🏻
also if you buy one of the Blackmagic keyboards, like the speed editor, it includes a Studio license with it. If you don't want the hardware you could always resell it on ebay without the software license and recoup some of your costs.
i like how you do the tutorial, man this is the first video ive watched in your channel, you are letting your audience to experiment unlike other tutorial wherein it is just a one path in mind
Nice vid! The glitch effect is a digital one which doesn't really fit a retro looking VHS-like intro since there was not much digital back than. Of course, creative freedom but imo it would have been better without.
Gotta love a great transition, right❓The only thing better is... stacked transitions, of course❗Very cool! Thanks for showing how that is done and all the many other tips here too. BTW, good looking intro.
This is really cool - thanks so much for the tutorial, Joris 🙏🏻 I love how you layer your transitions - I would have never thought of that 🙄🤦🏻♂🤣 Oh, and I was born in '78...but consider myself an 80's child so yeah...it IS the best decade 🤣 Great video man 🤟🙏🏻

dont you think you should include that the Analog Damage is only for studio versions? thats the main thing here and its not in the free version.
Love your videos Joris, but I wish you would point out at the beginning of the video that this is for the paid version only.

This is very nice! However I find that Analogue damage effect is not included in DaVinci Resolve, only in DaVinci Studio. Or am I missing something?
Oooooooohhh, talk about perfect timing, just as I was about to go looking for some VHS-tutorials, thanks man :)
I would've loved to see you go more in depth about how you got the text timer to animate. Thank you As always.
It appears the Analog Damage is only available in the Studio version of Davinci Resolve? 🤷♂
Yep
Sadly.
If you use websites like pexels, I'm sure you can achieve a similar effect despite that limitation!
@@cheesycakeousbro pexels is only for images 😂
@arobloxgamerthathasachannel There is a videos tab to the left of the search bar, click "photos" and there should be a video option.

Really like your style of videos 🙌🏼 Great video, I’m definitely gonna try this out
You are amazing 😻
Ty!! I don't know if it's the algorithm spell by I'm under the influence of some 80s Miami Vice vibes. Love the colors 🩷🩵
This is so good, thank you so much! I have a lot of experimenting to do :)
this is uncanny timming, I've been working on this last effect for the past couple of days messing around with different stuff!
Looks cool man, easy too...seems like it anyway.

Yeah, I don't remember much from the 80s... more of a 90s child I guess 😅
@@JorisHermans "if you remember the 80's you"....oh, wait....wrong decade 🤣 🤘
