She doesn't have to drink from a bottle just because she's a baby. She's perfectly able to drink from a sippy now. It's better for them and makes weaning off a bottle easier.

My son have been refusing bottle for 2 month now. He is 4 months old. He reject bottle when he was awake. Even when he was super hungry. At one time, he only drink 120ml for 12 hours. In few days he lost his weight. I have change formula brands and also change nipples and bottles, cup feeding and even using medicine feeder. Nothing seems to work. I think sleep feeding save his life. As only while sleeping, he will take his milk. While sleeping, he seldom suck the milk by himself, so i have to constantly stimulate his tounge to gulp down the milk. And it will takes around 45 minutes - 2 hours for him to finished his 130ml milk. Its tough. Pediatricians was at a loss. And told me to keep sleep feed him until he is ready for solid.

You want to line up their body like you would if you were breastfeeding, but just with them facing outward. You also need to make sure the nipple is really pressed into their palette. The muscles a baby uses to breastfeed are completely different then when they use the bottle. Even the way they have to swallow is different. It takes some time, but it works. You always want to give them a lot of praise, even if they do just a few sucks. It makes it more of a positive experience, so they don’t associate the bottle with something negative. I hope things got better over time with your baby!

It’s hard when our baby doesn’t feed. My baby does the same. When we went to feeding specialist, they asked us not to feed frequently and to feed only after 2.5 hours to 3 hours. Now he takes 4-5 ounces when he is sleeping. Take them in hands immediately after they slept and then try to feed. Hope this will help.
Solution: 1) Try to feed while sleeping 2) When baby is awake , use simethicone drops (1-2 drops ) on the bottle nipple and then try. simethicone drops are used to relieve gas in infants and its safe to use for babies of all ages. I did a lot of research and tried with my baby, it works like magic ( I also checked with the doctor, its 100% safe ) Just check the amount of drops you can give daily ( details should be available on the box when purchased) and make sure to follow that.

Change to smaller nipple bottles similar to the mothers breast. Very important if mother is unable to breast feed due to various reasons

Also dont go 14 hours without milk, babies need at least 10 ounces a day to keep hydrated, syringe feed if you need to make those ounces
