I love my Made In enameled cast iron dutch ovens. Those misen stainless have more cooking surface. But harder to toss the food or flip. They are both premium.

Do you know if sides are also 5-ply, or is it only the bottom?
No problem, glad you liked the video and great question! As a 5-ply the entire pan is constructed from 5 metal layers total (3mm thick in this case), so with this Misen you're getting great heat conduction and retention all around 🙂
Don’t buy this
knock off, there’s a reason people still buy the American stuff and that’s consistent quality. I got the 12 inch and that P.O.S warped after only 5 uses making pasta sauces, and the warranty through misen is worthless, you’ll pay so much in shipping it’s not even worth it.
Misen's an American company that was founded in New York.
Though the pans are manufactured in China, that's the same case for most of "the American stuff" if you take time to read labels and watch how US companies operate, including giants like Apple.
You could consider reaching out to their customer support to see if they'd make things right with a faulty product like all consumer should do.
And I'm not one to assume bad intent, but if there was anything else in this video that made you feel the urge to write "cheap Chinese knock off" thinking it'd go unchecked, I'm more than happy to call you out for that as well.
@@JeremyGReviews I reached out to misen for a warranty claim and they accepted a replacement but the shipping would be worth half as much as a new pan, I didn’t mean to knock your video but I wanted people to know that misen will make no effort to make things right in the case you get a defective product like I did. My all clad set is still going strong after years with no warping. It’s just sucks since my range is induction and now I have a $100 pan I can’t use. I care for my pans and know basic pan etiquette to keep them too top like not shocking them with heat or cold and basic things like that.
@@DavidGarcia-pi9wn Gotcha; sorry to hear that that was your experience with them. All about honest consumer reviews on this channel, so it's good to spread that awareness with your comments. Sounds like it was definitely a defective one, because I have an induction range too but mine's still holding up fine over the years (and admittedly probably don't know as much about pan care as I should lol)
But also for honesty/accuracy on both consumer and business ends, Misen's American with a warranty that sounds like involves expensive shipping; the "cheap Chinese knock off" remark isn't accurate and can also come across as a bit offensive.
