Gamo should be applauded for keeping production in Birmingham and not changing anything with BSA
I got my new Gammo 2 weeks ago and its just great cannot praise Vector air enough
Gamo wouldn’t sell a gun here if it was made outside Uk. Bsa is the only reason they have a name now.

Heard some customer complaints very recently, about a rude lady at BSA who answers the phone regarding people with faults wishing to get there guns repaired under guarantee, there reputation is going down the pan at the minute on the forums, thanks for the review great looking gun, not for me as I don’t like bolt action loading, prefer lever cocking but everyone to there own , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧

Not normally a fan of the big bottle up front,.. but the proportions of this one, and the transition in the wood soften it just enough for me to nod in appreciation.
Great show Andy, always wanted a R10 and after finding your channel after years away I managed to get myself a BSA R10TH .22 package last week, blown away at the quality and accuracy not to mention power, just waiting for money to balance out after Christmas to join B.A.S.C and my local shooting range.

Was wondering if you might consider doing a segment on older rifles so we can appreciate where we are now, I am sure there is a few manufacturers out there that would like a history of their guns being told and shown ooh and maybe highlight some manufacturers that still build in their place of origin 👍

I was going to buy a walnut stocked R10 when I came back to air gunning nearly 10 years ago, but I succumbed to the glorious Huntsman Classic. (Never regretted it either.)
Never really liked buddy bottle guns as most look - well awful. However, BSA designed a rifle so cleverly, that the bottle seems to be a natural part of the gun.
This latest R10 is fantastic! Beautiful, accurate, simple, reliable, and British.
The package price is a bargain for what it contains. If I had the need for another gun, I'd buy it right now.

I absolutely LOVE this look ; Nice wooden stock, big silencer, and a big air tank. Add that side lever cocking, quality parts and quality control, and you have a winner. I don't know if most people know that most Gamo's are part BSA, at least when it comes to PCP. Not sure about springers.

Thanks Andy, watched this review and bought one from Vector-air, arrived last Friday, absolutely gorgeous, silky smooth bolt action yep it certainly is, spent time in the back garden plinking, before I knew it I’d run out of air,can’t wait for the range to open so I can really try it out.
Not a fan of most lami stocks but this is the exception. Magnificent.

That is a beautiful stock, and I was raised with ole school hunting firearms by my dad.
He still has his Springfield 1903 sporter custom, that he built back when I was born in 1961.
It still looks brand new and super precise in it's shooting.
I've been a powder burner off n on for the last few years, collecting some American classics.
Especially WWII era, and have a fine collection now that gets people at the range excited when they see a 1930-40's
Springfield 1903, M1 Carbine .30cal, a pair of Colt 1911 reps, and the big boy my pride n joy M1 Garand.
Just two months ago I borrowed my co worker's Gamo break barrel style .177 and had to dispatch a pesky woodchuck(groundhog) out the window at point blank range.
I was hooked. I have another larger chuck out under a wood/brush burn pile and dozens of crows that sometimes blanket my back 2 acres.
So I became not only a life long powder burner, but now a newborn pellethead, and proud of naming myself that.
I've been enjoying my Benjamin Cayden .22 and built a 75yd (68.58 meter)range out my spare room window, across my back field and into the woods.
The chuck is hibernating now(winter time here) and the crows are over in another cornfield staying away from some nearby railroad construction, but I'm ready for the spring.
I wouldn't mind looking into another rifle in .177 to take some of these crows when they are on my roof hammering away at my shingles, and tin air vents.
I know the .22 would work fine, but why use that bigger caliber when a .177 hollow point would be perfect.
Plus and most important............this gives me a reason to have fun buying another air rifle lol. 😆😏😎👍 Merry Christmas to me.

Beautiful rifle for sure. I have an R10 and love it. the wood that came with it is simply a work of art. I have just ordered a O ring kit because of bad leakage. My magazine has broken as well and I need to get another one. But this is a very accurate rifle and I use it for rodent control here in the USA. To me, it is quality all of the way and I can easily see why you like it. When you have something that is high quality like an R10, it not only looks the part, it delivers as well. enjoyed your video and love the R10

I got a airfective BSA r10 shroud kit £150. and love it .The shroud on my new bsa was well stuck and I had too use a hair dryer to losen up the shroud and gave up on the moderator as it too was super stuck as well.some people have this issue problem.But the gun is super fun too shoot spot on an seems very good buy for the price

How come no one anywhere made mention of the fact that Steve Pope passed away two weeks ago. Not even a tribute. He was a legend in the airgun industry. Andy if you could dedicate 15 minutes to his life on your channel. That would be so appreciated.

Interesting video, as ever, with a nice and accurate rifle, Andy. I bought some years ago a BSA scorpion (simple but beautiful minelli beech stock), and it was the correct choice, for sure!

I am drooling. Superb stock and shrouded barrel., stunning looks and a quality package for just over £1k. Insane, I had a figure of over 1.5k in my head for that lot thinking I had underestimated. Dont know how the guys at Vector Air do it. Please lottery tickets, just a little win please.

NIce video Andy. Since i am owning GX40 (BSA is hard to get hands on in Slovenia and expensive), abusing it in the field, i could only confirm the quality provided. Only thing i changed was removing the barrel band - freefloating the barrel. And i am also fan of traditional bolt action.
I'm thinking about buying my second R10. Great guns 👍

I Loved Your comments on quality control and the UK (Great Britain) being renowned as a "Center for Excellence" it's really satisfying listening to Your opinion of BSA and I will echoe it , though I don't currently own any BSA guns , I have done in the past and know people who do currently , if anything I would say that they are at least as good if not better than they were in the past .That Nutmeg stock is simply stunning and the accuracy appears to be second to none (Good shooting on a cold day Andy) . What's not to want?, shame BSA are only doing a limited run in the Nutmeg ! but the Walnut stocks can also be just as attractive and even the Beech look good , the Polymer stock isn't nasty or ugly and is infinitely practical for day to day use not to mention cheaper ( though still beyond My budget ) . Well Done BSA , Well done Andy excellent show as always . Shoot Straight , Stay Safe & Stay Well !

It's good that they brought by GAMO. They are quality company the most likely will not destroy the quality of the rifle I still have my gamble 1.77 brake barrel from 1999. I'm tired of break barrels though
