I guess consoles spoiled me too much and my fears of the system freezing sometimes using a PC have been made manifest on sine occasions. The generation gap might really be a deal breaker. Not that much of a good experiece with those. Been playing Muse Dash lately and it's been a good experience. Thinking of getting Hades 2 or Cuphead.
@@weichiang89 Triple A games are def a struggle with the SD. I'd recommend looking into turning FSR on whenever it's available. Nice! Thank you very much! Did you play in Fifa games online? Is it good connection? Also, I have bought STeamDeck for first time and do you have some reccomendations for new users?
I haven't tried Fifa or any sports games. The wifi connection works great. It's wifi 6E so it's plenty fast and the range stays healthy around the house. The screen is 90Hz and set there by default. If you want to maximize battery life you can turn it down to 45Hz.
I think OLED is beautiful i was able to get the LE one and also not many ppl are saying it but the screens are by the same supplier of the switch OLED thats why they look identical and i love it cuz the switch OLED is stunning so having it on my steamdeck is amazing
I just am looking for the opinion to whether the 100$ difference is worth it when DIY storage is cheaper than the difference. I don't know of the 550$ oe 650$
When changing out the Internal SD in the OLED model there is a black ribbon cable that runs across the entire back internals that is glued down, you have to SLOWLY pull this up to not break it, then you can unscrew a metal back plate to access the internal SD, if you're not comfortable doing this then buy the 1tb, keep in mind though the 1tb matte screen makes colors a little bit muted and lowers sharpness.
@@KhalilJones-l7o haha, it's a pretty exciting handheld. Be sure to check in and let us know what you think of it when you get the chance to, if you'd like. Congrats and have fun!
