1.Buying books just to look trendy, even though I'm not interested in reading them.
2.Subscribing to a news channel that offers biased or fake perspectives.
3.Making an impulsive purchase of a laptop from a sketchy seller on eBay.
4.Hiring inexpensive labor for skilled work.
5.Opting for fast food instead of healthier options.
6.Choosing the cheapest flight option without considering quality.
7.Spending money on luxury items solely to impress others with my wealth.
8.Falling for a salesperson's false influence to buy a new technology product (like a vacuum cleaner) that I don't actually need.
9.Going to a low-cost and questionable massage parlor.
10.Investing in real estate without proper planning or consideration.

      NICE!
      1. No need to show off one's fake intelligence to the World....RATHER BECOME REAL by making efforts to improve oneself.
      2. News Channels all over the World, mostly sensationalise reality...therefore better to form opinions based on real facts derived from authentic articles and sources.
      3. Things that seem too good to be true...Usually are...TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!
      4. Skilled work requires exactly that... A Skilled Person...or thing/ resources. A non skilled / less skilled person for a Skilled job, will end up creating loss of time/money/resources!
      5. There is no substitute for healthy food. The body will endure in 20s without complaining...but not so much in 30s , 40s when you actually need to be your best for Hustle etc.
      6. We tend to waste a lot of time searching for discounts and cheap options ... without realizing the amount of loss we tend to bear in terms of the TIME LOST!
Difficult to understand this particular one in the 20s...I KNOW!😂
      7. We think showing off our expensive stuff will impress others. This habit is so prevalent amongst us...but to think about it...isn't it Childish behaviour ? Our real good/great work, should speak for us....NOT our borrowed/ fancy, yet fake lifestyle.
      8. Buy stuff that one needs... that too after good research... Not what is good for someone else, or what seems to be useful, in advertisement!
      9. Most of the times our gut instinct is right... so don't ignore it!
      10. Adjust your investments based on your "OWN" inflation rate. Not on the Country's, or the World! Understand this! If you have an expensive Lifestyle/Wants ... then most probably you investing in low returns.. is not going to help your case.
      Be mature... invest wisely!
And more importantly observe and check your lavish lifestyles!
Ankur Warikoo explains this so beautifully. 😊

"Every one has their own inflation rate".
And until now I've always assumed it's the government's adjusted inflation I need to care about but this does help in how to manage your finances year-on-year.

We all have heard a lot from you that you had financial problems in your teenage and in your 20s then how did your parents send you to US for studies? I don't think it's easy to afford that even for upper middle class people.

    • @lukario2393
      @lukario2393 7 місяців тому +8

The term "financial problems" is highly subjective, varying from person to person based on their location, family, and surroundings. For instance, someone who grew up in a Tier 1 city and an affluent neighborhood would experience different financial problems and stresses compared to a person living in a Tier 2 or 3 city.

@@lukario2393 yes right but the way he says all the time that he is from a middle class family, he had no money, they used to live in a rented house, they were broke and all that, it sometimes feels like he is exaggerating all this. I mean most of us who are really from a middle class family can't afford it, even now with education loan because I don't think the loan covers your travel, rent, food etc.

Even same story with house we bought. 😢 And even i have taken cheap labour but realized its not worth at all. Only with money you can gain someone's skill. It applies to everthing whether doing to doctor, going parlour, purchasing clothes or courses etc.

Happens most of the time. Even in professional and expensive places, usually they keep offering you sexual services for high rates. If your serious about a massage, never take it from a female. They will ensure your bank balance is gone. They have been doing it for years and are well experienced to get you in to it and make you a victim. So be careful!!

You have to beat inflation of your life , It means you need to invest in such areas where your returns are more than your future expenses.

Basically, Cheap doesn't mean Good!! That's all.... BTW the only mistake that I would have made is
To purchase subscription of News Letters
And Not to go for Direct Flights!!
And ofc eating Fast food on daily basis; that's Addiction
    .
    .
    .
    Being an Ankur Warikoo Subscriber🙌

    1. Whenever you do anything to show people, that will never add to your intelligence
    2. If i hsve to understand something in life, then i will never understand it through news
    3. Whatever seems to be too good to be true us most likely not true.
    4. Whenever you get someone to work for an expertise , don't optimise on the price
    5. Don't treat your body like a bustbeen
    6. Time is money, and it should be treated likewise.
    7. Don't fail in trap of showing off and projecting that you are rich and successful.
    8. Everything that is sold to you is not necessary to work for you.
    9. Don't do anything in doubt.
    10. Whenever you are doing an investment, don't go by opinions, but just by the numbers.
