Currently in the layoff market in IT industry. People who have learned useful skills via courses but not through actual work have problems getting job. Interviewers say "yes you have learnt about but you don't have work experience so sorry" Unfortunately in IT it's all work experience unless they are very desperate to try you out. People stuck in a job which has very company specific skills are at a disadvantage since they don't have much value outside their company. And then if you don't have work experience then you won't get hired for the work where they use that skill

I m 30 now, married, father of a five year old daughter and you know what I am jobless since 2018 its been almost 6 years doing nothing.... My Rat race behind a tiny Gov Job put me in a situation where I have lost almost everything precious time, money and my potential ... left with zero self esteem.
Now I have no skill and experience to get a job and no money and confidence to start or run a business.
Yet I haven't any Life or health insurance till today.

Currently in the layoff market in IT industry. People who have learned useful skills via courses but not through actual work have problems getting job.
Interviewers say "yes you have learnt about but you don't have work experience so sorry"
Unfortunately in IT it's all work experience unless they are very desperate to try you out.
People stuck in a job which has very company specific skills are at a disadvantage since they don't have much value outside their company.
And then if you don't have work experience then you won't get hired for the work where they use that skill
