So great! I had fallen into the trap that unless I was working out hard for 45 min to an hour, I was wasting my time. Thanks for the reminder that it’s doing whatever you do consistently. One 45 min workout every 3 weeks will do very little without daily consistency. Thanks! Please do a summer time skin care routine and makeup look with products for a lighter, bronzier, natural look. I’m finding this year that my regular routine at 54 with retinoids is too much for summer even with sun screen and a hat. And my makeup needs to have coverage but maybe be lighter and fresher. Thank so much for your videos! Keep ‘em coming!

Thank you for making this video, Lisa despite being a bit nervous like you mentioned. It's refreshing and relatable to see a simple, daily workout routine from a non-fitness enthusiast (they area great as well but just not suitable to some of our lifestyles). This is a great reminder that any form of physical exercise that feels good to our bodies is worth doing.
Great job Lisa, I do simple exercises in my hotel room/home in the A.M. I use bands or weights at home. Mon-Sat, 8-10 minutes two opposing body parts 4sets of 12. In my PJs😊I’ve been consistent now for 90 days. I can see the difference.💪🏽Thanks for sharing, you did it!!❤

These are exactly the same arm exercises i do too and a few other I actually still do the same exercises that I’ve done for years still follow the Cindy Crawford exercises the first video she made! Everything makes a difference and it doesn’t take that long! Good job Lisa!!!

I like that you do this everyday and mention consistency - it can be confusing if you’re doing something different everyday or like only a couple times a week
Good Job Lisa ! Every trainer that I have had had one thing in common that is when you are working out the muscles to count ... 1, 2 when working(contracting) the muscle and 1,2,3,4 when returning to the start position and when you are returning to the start postion to concentrate on the way back to the starting place .. that way you work the muscle both on the contraction and on the relaxtion back to the start - the slower you go is better than using momentum to "swing" the weight

I do a similar arm routine, but I do use the 8lb weights, best to start off lower tho, eventually the 5lbs became too easy for me. I also do yoga daily, so lots of planks involved. This was great. I love my daily 3 mile walk, but need strength training.
I really enjoyed this Lisa! I'm 40 and it has been hard acclimating to aging. I started walking for 30 minutes in the mornings and it does wonders for my peace of mind and hopefully i'll begin to see the health benefits too! I agree it doesn't take the gym or intense workouts

Great video! Thnx for sharing! Agree you have to be consistent! I walk on a treadmill at the gym 3x a week. It’s a good time for catching up on you-tube videos. I’ve also added 15 minutes of rowing, great for all-over body and cardio. I spot exercise the other 3 days (15 minutes max). The weight exercises you show are perfect for that. Now that I’m doing more yard work/raking/weeding, I often count that as my exercise for the day. 😊

Hey Lisa! Loved the video! This hit home today, I've been going to the gym since I was 18 (59 now) back then gyms were a "luxury" where I lived, it wasn't cheap per month, and so you had a lot of adults, serious fitness folks, etc. NOW, my gym is $10 a month where I now live. The problem is it has brought in the dating and hookup folks, teens, etc. I can't even get on the machines I want. I'm so ready to start a home gym!

Keep up the good work! Remember to breathe in and thrn exhale on release blowing out of mouth. Practice this so you learn when you are holding your breath.
Enjoyed your video...as a woman over 50, I understand what your saying about not wanting to go to gyms. I used to in my younger days, but I find gyms are just not for me for various reasons.. Mostly I just walk, but I do use some weights (though not daily) to add to my routine. I think your advice of doing what you can and being consistent is always the key that we seem to forget.
