      Yes, And the same strike that would've had me on the ground as a white belt, I simply didn't even feel as Black Belt. Part of it is confidence and pride but the other part of it is that you are used to getting hit. You don't get scared. And of course there is technique.

    I was always told to NOT try to intimidate someone before a fight. Because, as you are pissing them off........their body will start sending out chemicals that can make them stronger. Kind of like the stories of mothers being able to lift very heavy object off of their kids. Hope this makes sense.

      @garyrunciman-jones919 3 дні тому +3

      You obviously have no MA experience.. a rear naked choke goes around the neck and UNDER the chin.. it would be impossible to bite the arm .. you would pass out with 10 seconds!

    • @nicklubrino2606
      @nicklubrino2606 2 дні тому

      @@garyrunciman-jones919My response got deleted from UA-cam, but I wrote was there are plenty of opportunities to bite his arm before his arm is totally sunk in and around the neck. When he’s trying to get his arm around your neck, there’s plenty of opportunities to bite the arm. UFC was a showcase for Gracie Juijitsu since Rorion Gracie was one of the founders of the UFC. They would advertise: “There are no rules” but in small letters “there’s no eye gouging and no biting.” That’s because biting is one way of getting out of a choke.

    Fools. I took boxing for two years…just to be above average. Jujitsu for six years. So….an average street thug would,find out…I’m not just an easy target. However…..although I can hold my own with someone who is not trained and a street thug. A real fighter like these dudes? People who have trained and fought and conditioned for so many years? No way. I know it and I would never be fool enough to even consider challenging. When you’ve done this even at my limited amount compared to some of these guys? You know…..you just know and you know what they can do. I thought I was getting pretty good at jiu-jitsu and everyone told me I was and I never got cocky about it, but I asked one of the guys to wrestle me after practice and asked him to not baby me. It was all cool and the guy liked me and I liked him and I told him I just wanted to see how far I had come and would he let me have ten minutes or so. He was really cool and even talked to me and give me suggestions as he was wrestling me… Yes, making suggestions while I’m trying my best to get him in a controlled situation. He said, ok….are you ready? I will turn it up a bit. I said, let’s do it. Good lord…… I was not ready for what came next. It was just too easy for him. I got submitted four times in about one and a half minutes. Thank God, he was a cool dude and just was helping me. I found out the difference of where I thought I was and where I needed to be… Lol never again will I want to challenge anyone, although it was very friendly and my approach was respectful. If it’s never happened to you… It’s a scary feeling to realize when the strength gets turned on and the years of training kick in with these guys…. There really isn’t anything you can do. My suggestion. Keep the mouth closed.

    fighting was alright up to about 11 then well i guess i hurt people but i remember being hurt. You get that dizzy feeling and you like shit i could die here.
    The Soul showed me early on to stop there's so many ways to avoid fighting really, Not all but most. Inst that the principle of Martial arts. Back ing down first walking away, jogging . Well if it comes to running i hope you have somewhere to go. Could be better to stand up at that point grab a bit of wood. though often the one hit can be enough then there appeased. I had that . Hit me thought he d stop but he didnt so i ran.
    Well Life is always going to produce better in the end you ll always fall meet someone better look at Tyson. Good lesson for everyone that one.
    Live by the violence then die by it. Its fair! Greece built their society on that a good death in the midst of bravery. Roman vikings. its 2 roads, I dont like it personally. GOd didnt make us like crocodiles with armor or pincers like a Lion. they are built to fight! We soft and made to be gentle.
