Hi I’ve been making matcha at home recently. My only problem is that when I pour the matcha into my milk, it loses its flavor. I can’t taste the matcha anymore. Do you know why that’s happening?
you may either have a mild profiled matcha meaning it isn't a super bold tasting matcha or you aren't using enough of the matcha powder. I normally use about 2 -3 tsps. Or the other reason it could be is the type of milk you're using - if you use certain milks, it overpowers the taste of the matcha because of the ingredients/flavorings inside

It tends to start going bad around 3 months but I would recommend once you open it to finish it as soon as you can since matcha is such a delicate powder. I drink so much matcha I easily go through my cans once I open them lol
you dont have to! But since i live in a place where it's hot and humid and matcha is such a delicate powder, it can affect the quality of the matcha so i store mine in the fridge to protect that

How long before matcha expires? My first thought when I saw your matcha collection. Genuine question ☺
