You may not be here CJ but I wanted to Thank you for this video. I'm a new Locksmith and have the carpentry skills of a 10-year-old building a cool fort. Lol. This video helped me tremendously.
Thank you for sharing! I like your cam locks. Can you share where you purhcased it? I've been searching thru the internet but does not have that extra plate which will hold the lock not rotating. Kindly appreciate it! Thank you
mascarenas ramon Yes . These are Olympus locks . A little more pricey than others but well worth it . Unfortunately the plates are not available ( from what I can tell ) separately . I wish they were since they would work on most cam locks to upgrade or repair , plus the center screw keeps the castle nut from coming loose.
I wouldn’t feel able to do this myself What sort of person would I need to get in touch with to install some key locks on cupboards at home? A Locksmith? A Carpenter?
More secure maybe but not very user friendly in my opinion. It would require umlatching of both catches simultaneously making it a 2 handed operation and a bit awkward. when I need a more secure installation, for example, medical supplies, or when it is a larger door that will flex, i install those little slide bolts top and bottom

Grate vide. How much would a project like this cost with materials and labor? Thank you
I liked the screw at the end to take care of the latch slack "bump". Thanks!
My 3 years old daughter can't stop laughing at you every time you grimaced at the camera. She attracted to your act.
Nicely done!
Cheers I never comment too, but this problem puzzled me for my wardrobe thanks for the real world info :)
Great instructional video. I feel prepared to do it myself.
Where can I find the elbow catch ?
Very cool! Thank you!

Good video but what's the measurements?
how do you know the proper height as to where to put the lock on the cabinet?
It nots the H you worry about. It’s the distance from the door edge that’s important
Nice! Now I know what to do 😆🔒🔓🔐🔑🛠🛒
I wouldn’t feel able to do this myself

A Locksmith?
A Carpenter?
Well, being a locksmith myself, I'm a little biased! I would call a locksmith.
Chris
