Ben, thank you for highlighting these stories of faith throughout the world. It's great to hear the stories of faithful Latter-day Saints throughout the world.❤
Thank you for this interview, and also the one about the church in Mongolia. Focusing on the women in the Church fed my soul. I can relate to the story of the Thai princess and gives strength to my own experience. I love this world-wide Church. We are so blessed and enriched.
I served in Bangkok Thailand in the 70's and worked with Sis. Sriluksana on the translation of the D&C. She was a remarkable woman. She and several other women carried the Church on their backs as there were few men who were able to lead. However, those women weren't officially allowed to lead because of their gender. She had to endure patronizing men who dismissed her because she couldn't "hold the priesthood". Sis. Sriluksana had an inspiring and complicated life. It wasn't always roses blooming beneath her feet. I'll get the book and see if it contains any nuance, or just faithful promotion.
So glad I watched this video. I am certainly going to look for this. I am wondering if these cultures make accepting the restored gospel a bit easier. Here in the US when you tell someone that God and his Son appeared to Joseph Smith. Then later the original apostles appeared restoring the priesthood. The reaction is typically divisive I have had visions and dreams. Very few few and far between, but I do not talk about it as people will immediately think I need professional help and medication.
Yes I agree with you. I appeared on a podcast recently which will air in February in which I felt to share about a vision I had once. I wonder how people will respond
I was so moved after recording this, I am still thinking about the faith of the women I learned about. I hope you enjoy it too.

Many in the church will be open to it. Especially if they have experienced something similar. However there will be others....
