Have you guys played any of these games?🤘
Oh, and be sure to subscribe to... escape the dungeon! 😂
None, but all of them looks very fun to play!
very few, but all of them look fun and time consuming (in a good way)
Dawncaster is so fun. deserves way more attention then its gotten. Glad you talked about it
Awww yeah! I'm glad to see so many on here enjoying it too :) Thanks for sharing, mate, and I hope to see you around in the community here on the channel. Stay awesome!
I was just in the mood for a deck-builder! What a nice timing for your video :)
Breach Wanderers really piqued my interest, thank you!
Fantastic timing then, haha! :) Uh, nice. I hope you'll have fun with Breach. I really liked it a lot.
Oh wow, the art of Meteorfall is amazing, and looks like a very interesting gameplay too.
Thanks for the content! And special thanks for AlexSem and the Patreon people too!
Oh yes, Meteorfall is something special for sure :) Glad to hear you find it intriguing too. And thanks for showing some love to those awesome people. And thank YOU too for being an important part of the community, mate :) I'm really glad to have you here. I hope you'll have a great rest of your weekend. Stay awesome!
It has a ton of replayability, there are choices you make when playing that really affect the gameplay and all of the classes play extremely differently
I'm currently playing Rogue Adventure and loving it more and more, eventhough I'm only level 10 with an Assassin who has reached Inferno 4 cuz that's my most favorable class in every game, tends to play more classes once I unlock them.
Uhhh, nice! That's so great to hear, mate :) It's a neat game indeed, hehe. Also, I hope you'll have a look around the channel if you're new around here. I make all sorts of videos related to mobile games discovery.
@@NimbleThor thanks, definitely gonna check em out for sure, hoping to find more great mobile games out there cuz I'm poor and can't even afford a good PC to play lol
I more like wizard because we can play so many card in 1 turn😂😂😂
I recommend trying the Android game Rogueship, although it is not very good graphically, it has very fresh and original mechanics in the Deck Builder combats
Uh, thanks Daniel. I haven't seen that one before :) I'm glad to hear you've been enjoying it. Looks neat!
After i started playing Dawncaster I pretty much forgot i even had Night of the full moon and Pirate outlaws on my phone😁
Ohhh snap! Now, THAT is what I call a recommendation ;) I'm glad to hear you loved it so much, mate.
Been following you for about a week and I really like how you find quality games that are not based around micro transactions its amazing!
Ay, thanks mate! That's exactly it. Pay-to-win mobile games are everywhere, but I try to search for the hidden gems to share with you all :) I'm really glad you found your way here, and I hope to see you around in the community / comments sections. Stay awesome! Oh, and do you have any personal favorite mobile games?
@@NimbleThor hmm I tried alot on mobile, I would say these are worth a look at and they are games I keep in mind to go play again some have a cost or premium: plague, atomic bomber, cartoon def, demons rise 1 and 2, hex commander fantasy heroes, lara croft go, life of a mercenary, both nexomons, pickle Pete, Rome total war, shoguns empire hex commander, tafl, talisman, the room and it's other games, rangers oblivian. All I would say are great games that don't have high micro transactions and can be played fully. I think but that my list over years. I hope this helps testing some for videos.
Oh man, that's an awesome list of games! I've played a lot of those, and I agree, they're awesome! :) Thanks for sharing them all with me and everyone else reading this. I appreciate it.
To you, person reading the comments, I would like to recommend the game Dicey Dungeons! It got some interesting mechanics, good humor, fast games, good range of difficulty, and the difference between characters is felt.
Hey that's me! I'm reading the comments! :D Thanks for the recommendation, btw. I agree - the game is awesome! Really enjoyed it.
I’ve tried a lot of these games and I really enjoyed indies lies and breach wanderers. IL is a bit easier and more relaxed. BW is more challenging and it has a good story as well. It also has a lot of features. And the games runs smoothly. Breach wanderer is the only game that I play now
That's fantastic to hear, mate. Thanks for sharing your personal favorites. And I agree - Breach Wanderers is just awesome :)
I just downloaded BW after reading your comment a couple days ago and I LOVE it!
Who is your favorite character after the starting character? Freeze is such a satisfying synergy for the starter deck. I hope the other characters are just as fun.
This is a fantastic list! I've played and loved most of these, especially Dawncaster, Night of the Full Moon, and Breach Wanderers.
I'm hoping you can help me. I'm trying to find an older game in this same genre, but I can't remember the name of it. It's something like The Fall of Apophis. If I remember correctly, the dev is Russian and the translation wasn't the greatest. I played it back in 2015 or thereabouts. It had mixed reviews because the final boss was orders of magnitude harder than all the other fights.
Just downloaded dawncaster and I'm already having a blast
That makes me so happy to hear, mate! :) Really motivates me to keep looking for the best games for you guys. This is what I live for, haha. Stay awesome!
Dawncaster has been one of my go to games when I'm bored. I've bought all of the expansions to support the developers, and really enjoy how they monetize it. Really wish a lot of other games would take the same path.
Got this game after enjoying slay the spire and this one is so boring. I liked void tyrant more and even that one was a little eh
@@ChronoMune so boring? o.o I mean I have a blast playing it, is it too tough or something? Not sure what to say if it doesn't entertain you though, but I loved it.
@@JBPVFL might try it again, just disappointing playing the cards. Battling/attacking didn’t feel fun
Found this video & haven't heard/played the majority of them. I've decided to try out BW, hoping it's a hit :)
Hi! I wanna recommend a game called Arrow War its very fun (imo) though progress is slow early game its very satisfying to watch all of your upgrades and items take effect later on in the game.
Ohhh snap, haha. I LOVE the art style. Gonna check it out for sure. Thanks for sharing it 💪
Breach Wanderers is your favorite out of these? Alright, downlaoding now. Lots of good ones in here and a couple i havent heard of! Which is always awesome to find new stuff 😁
Ok downloading Dark Mist too. Gonna add to that games downloads and it looks freaking sweet.
It's my PERSONAL favorite, yes. But I know others also really love Night of the Full Moon (which is also another one of my favorites). Dark Mist is awesome too.
Uhhh, nice ^^ I hope you'll enjoy them both. They're definitely some of the very best in their genre!
Hello NimbleThor! One question, which game is better for you, Dicey Dungeons or Meteorfall: Journey? Thanks in advance!!
On a personal love, I REALLY enjoyed Dicey Dungeons. Such a neat game :D
My man nimblethor you are an inspiration. Your positivity makes my days a lot better. Thanks for making videos!
Oh wow. That's so sweet of you to say, mate. Truly - thank you! 🙌 I'll definitely continue making videos for you guys, and constantly try to come up with new fun formats. Thank you for being here, and I hope you'll have a great weekend, mate.
Thanks for the vid. Some new titles for me to try! First me Monster Train is hands down the best deck builder. I find STS a bit underwhelming these days although it did once set the benchmark.
there were some games on here that are actually pretty unique like Dark Mist, havent heard of the penalty of losing your cards lol!
Thanks, mate :) Yeah, I really don't get why Dark Mist isn't more popular. It definitely deserves it!
@@NimbleThor well you got me to download it! already making it more popular!
Blood Card (from the developers of Dark Mist) uses the same "health = card count" formula, but plays more like Slay the Spire. This mechanic adds an unusual twist, where instead of trimming the deck to contain only a handful of useful cards (like we do in the majority of deck builders), here having a large deck is preferable most of the time.
Uh, nice! I actually didn't remember they had made another game. Thanks for pointing it out :)
Card survivals seems very good too
Highly recommend Out of Hands!
I couldn't find that one anywhere. Do you have a link, by any chance?
Card guardians is my new addition
Uh, nice! That one is new to me. Might just have to check it out. It looks neat :) Thanks for sharing, mate.
i thought only me who like this kins of game😂. thanks brah
Ohhh no, haha. There's a large group of us out here :D Thanks for dropping by, by the way. I hope you'll enjoy some of the other videos too. New one landing this weekend :)
hey nimble, im a casual fan of ur channel because im also a mostly casual mobile player… that being said even I, (who doesnt get into the specifics of mobile games too much) have noticed that mobile gaming is almost regressing?! i hope this is just me overthinking but i feel like mobile gaming had more momentum a year or two ago, whereas now theres less intrest, the games are coming out at a lower and lower quality, and the monetization continues to get worse and worse… maybe im just overthinking, either way even if mobile gaming falls off the face of the earth ill still be tuning in to ur videos just to see how youre doing!
First of all - thank you! :) I'm so glad to have you here, mate. And I appreciate the kind comment. Now, as for the state of mobile gaming, I can definitely relate to what you're saying, BUT (and there is a big but here!) I've actually also started noticing more and more really solid premium games releasing on mobile recently. Way more than I saw a few years ago. So while the monetization of some free games might be getting worse, the number of available good PAID games seems to increase. And that gives me a lot of hope :)
I hope you'll continue finding games to enjoy - and hopefully I'll be able to make you aware of some of them. So stay awesome, mate. And I'll see you around.
@@NimbleThor youre probably right!! ive never tried to look into the paid side of mobile games (other than minecraft PE and things like that lol), but im definitely going to start looking into it/ keeping an eye out.
I appreciate the reply and hope you have a great day, and keep the great content flowin! (:
Thanks mate, and you too! Have a wonderful weekend 🙌
Can someone remind me some old card game. I remember that you have a row of cards that you fill and then your and opponents cards attack each other from left to right (so if there is no card in front of it, it will attack hero). Big part of the game were "wall cards" that triggered abilities when being attacked. Game being old is important clue as this game is released before card games became popular on pc.
P.s. I know its vague discription but there is just not much to say about it. It was simple yet entertaining game. One more thing, art was somewhat close to MTG and i dont remember having ground/energy cards (though there might be, i just dont recall)
You cannot choose what card to attack. Every card attack the card in front of it
"Astral duels". Holy shit i searched for it for a long time and now found it by accident. Though art looks nothing like mtg. My memory is too bad :(
Astral Masters*. I hate that i cant edit comments on phone
Lost Pages
Titan Slayer: Deckbuilding RPG - Has darkest dungeon artstyle
Ancient Gods: Card Battle RPG
Uh, Lost Pages is new to me. Thanks for sharing those, mate! 🙌
I love card quest. I have all but 4 of these games and card quest has gotten the most hours out of me.
That's so great to hear! 👏 I really should play Card Quest more 😊
Meteorfal journeys has exactly the same art style as Krumit’s tales (different game, still rly good). Is it by the same devs?
no more dark mist? that game looked good but i cant find it now
any toughts about little alchemist remastered?
breech wanderer or indies lies?
im. going to spend lots of money to the best card game.
Day x waiting for Monster Train Android port, :(
Me too, mate :( I really really hope they'll release it this year.
Hey, i got a suggestion: iris and the giant
It is also a card based roguelite where a girl fights her inner demons. The art style is very refreshing and the music is great! Hope you will try it
Ahhh yes! How could I have forgotten about that one. Thanks for sharing it, mate :) I appreciate it.
I suggest the game Pegli
Who's in thumbnail
If you're talking about the current thumbnail, it's from Dawncaster :) Amazing game!
I appreciate the video, but the mobile port of Slay the Spire is definitely C grade. It is the worst way to experience an excellent game, and every other platform (Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Switch) runs the game significantly better. I've played the game on five different platforms, and mobile provides the worst running and least polished experience.
Having said that, I'm super glad that you mentioned the mobile port of Monster Train. It is excellent! Especially since you can enable a high frame rate mode on more powerful devices.
Ah, yes! 👏 I just hope it'll come to Android soon too. I don't know if Apple paid for a timed exclusivity mobile port. I can't wait to play it on my own phone 😀 And yeah, the Slay the Spire port might not be 110% perfect. Thanks for pointing it out to everyone reading. Good to know before potentially buying 👏
Wdym? Does the mobile didn't get the full feature or what?
When y'all say this - you never explain why. Why is it bad? Specifically.
@@Blackobra614 I've only ever played it on mobile, and the biggest issue I've seen is how touchy the cards are. It's ridiculously easy to accidentally play the wrong card. Once I figured it out, it's rare for it to happen to me anymore.
Where is ancient gods???
Not my type of game, but I downloaded all the free ones anyway. 😂
#game_hoarder
Haha, I love that way of thinking :P Just in case you ever want to get into the genre, you now at least have some GREAT games to start with :)
