I think Hasbro should lean into those Wolverine 2 packs. Wolverine(just like Ironman and Spider-Man) is an evergreen figure- something that will always sell well regardless of the wave. So packaging a cool Wolverine figure with a lesser known or fan favorite character is a great way to get those wished for figures made as well as give even more variety to the Wolverine lineup. I'd rather have to buy another wolverine to finally get a first appearance Psylocke or Lilandra- two figures that are totally overdue.
I wish we'd get more battle damaged figures. Like imagine getting that big ass Sabretooth with a messed up, tattered Wolverine. Give him a battle damaged head similar to the Mezco Wolverine with half the mask missing.
I think of all the things you mentioned here, I'm most excited for that ANGEL figure. I'm not sure I'll pick this one up, but I'm excited for the possibility of an Original 5 X-Men pack again. I would love if they could remake that pack on the new bucks.
Considering how similar their heads are, a Count Nefaria could also lead to a Graviton figure, arguably two of the biggest named villains we haven't seen yet. (Another is FF villain Diablo, and Cap's villain Sin---who was a primary villain in a pretty big crossover)
you really cannot go wrong with comic accurate Asgardians…ideally Simonson style. Surtur, Mangog, Sif, Warriors Three, Balder, Kurse, Malekith, Ymir, Midgard Serpent, Heimdall, Executioner, Enchantress….you could do several complete waves of just Asgardians!
Regarding Sabretooth…I’d like to see Creed in a 3 piece suit, and then another in his shackles when he was kept prisoner in the x-basement to receive therapy from Xavier before the Phalanx storyline.
I think most collectors today weren't collecting then. So many UA-camrs seem to miss the pre return of era of marvel legends unless it's one of the old two packs.
Classic red halo Angel would be awesome. The SHIELD 3 pack might be great, done correctly with classic costumes. Count Nefaria has me stoked! Though I'd FAR prefer a classic Graviton (original costume, sans cape), but if Ikaris is in his classic original Kirby costume, I'll need a defibrillator! Man, classic original Ikaris is a MUST HAVE!
Scarlet Spider has been one of my favourite costumes since I read the Clone Saga when I was a kid. Since I started off collecting Marvel Legends in 2021, I've held off buying the 2018 version because £100+ is WAY too much in my eyes, so the chance he'll finally get a re-issue is music to my ears. Here's hoping it is him, especially on the Renew Your Vows body, like you said.
I'm a casual Marvel Legends fan, I only buy a few but I've always been a massive Wolverine fan and yes I'd love to see a casual Wolverine in a jacket! I've never owned a Sabretooth because I've always thought the figures by Marvel Legends looked too scrawny. My gosh I'd be excited if they make a hulking Sabretooth just like the one in the 90s X-Men cartoon. I'd sell my left arm for the ultimate Sabretooth
These do make sense since it's Wolverines anniversary and the game is supposed to drop around 2025 from Insomniac too. We'll get a ton of teases and hype for Logan next year and I'm all for it!
Why, Sabertooth is 6'6, artistic license where some of these artists that have zero respect for the source and draw him 8-8 ft tall is why so many of you who don't even know his OG stats, want a giant Version.

I think if they made a Jim lee sabertooth on the venom movie body that would look great. The proportions are there, just add the blades on the elbows and the fur around the neck and boom.

The 1st Psylocke costume is the pink dress. She was already using the alias Psylocke when she later started wearing the armoured costume (which I think, off the top of my head, Madelyn Pryor made for her to be more combat practical)

Count Nefaria and a Jack O Lantern are wants for me. That's if Hasbro does them right; new sculpts decent articulation extra hands and effect pieces. Nefaria could be on the Vulcan bod but maybe improve the gappy ab crunch like they did for Corsair. Don't just put Jack on the old Green Goblin buck.

I'm excited for most of the figures on the list, but I'm especially psyched for the new Sabretooth! In case you don't have one, I'd like to recommend the 7" scale, Marvel Select 'Zombie Sabretooth' from Diamond Select. He's huge, got good articulation including a hinged jaw, and the sculpt is done with lots of wolverine claw mark wounds on him so that he can be displayed with a non zombie Wolverine. If you can, check it out.
Literally all we have left is the 2 obvious MCU waves from this video (and maybe Heroes Reborn Iron Man, unless they meant the “Heroes Reborn Iron Man” that they said was Reborn but was actually Heroes Return) so it’s safe to say that this guy is reliable (he got wrong which wolverine would be in which 2 pack but hey that isn’t really that crazy of a mistake)
Not sure I like 2 packs, but at least most of them seem skippable. Psylocke in her Armor would be the only must buy. If they're doing Wolvie's 50th I hope the other special line is Secret Wars 40th. They can reuse a lot of molds and give us some updated figures that are expensive on the secondary market like a classic Cyclops, Nightcrawler, classic Colossus, Avengers/FF She-Hulk & the Wrecking Crew along with much needed figures like Volcana & Titania.

I'm excited for most of the figures on the list, but I'm especially psyched for the new Sabretooth!
In case you don't have one, I'd like to recommend the 7" scale, Marvel Select 'Zombie Sabretooth' from Diamond Select. He's huge, got good articulation including a hinged jaw, and the sculpt is done with lots of wolverine claw mark wounds on him so that he can be displayed with a non zombie Wolverine. If you can, check it out.

Literally all we have left is the 2 obvious MCU waves from this video (and maybe Heroes Reborn Iron Man, unless they meant the “Heroes Reborn Iron Man” that they said was Reborn but was actually Heroes Return) so it’s safe to say that this guy is reliable (he got wrong which wolverine would be in which 2 pack but hey that isn’t really that crazy of a mistake)

Not sure I like 2 packs, but at least most of them seem skippable. Psylocke in her Armor would be the only must buy. If they're doing Wolvie's 50th I hope the other special line is Secret Wars 40th. They can reuse a lot of molds and give us some updated figures that are expensive on the secondary market like a classic Cyclops, Nightcrawler, classic Colossus, Avengers/FF She-Hulk & the Wrecking Crew along with much needed figures like Volcana & Titania.
Yeah a few deep cuts it would be great to see!

Hey Dave, I got a question it has been confirmed that the thunderbolts and Captain America brave New World have been delayed to 2025 so the question is do you think Marvel legends will still release the figures of those movies in 2024?
I’m guessing they might sit in a warehouse for a few months.

Hello displaying model behavior, love your vida and have been a fan since I started to collect action figures, I know you moved to Japan (congrats, Japans is awesome) and I know you’ve recently been toy hunting in Osaka and im planing to go to Osaka today and im searching for the Sentinel Miles Morales and the Mafex Peter B. Parker (maybe the Mafex Venom), any recommendations on where to find them? Where is the best place to search for them? Etc? Could use your help (and anyone’s else’s) Thanks!
