    Explain for real time problems. How to calculate shear stress without knowing spring index C. Please start doing a problem with a 100N load, REQUIRED Deflection 10mm and spring ID -20mm. Rigidity modulus G take for SS316. Will it work, IF I REVERSE CALCULATE BY TAKING C FROM 4 TO 12 and fix a mean dia and with C if I calculate coil dia and proceed. Realtime spring manufacturers data is not matching with these calculations.
